A truly unforgettable experience

A truly unforgettable experience. Jorge is a professionally trained chef whose mastery of simple ingredients proved less is more. After a short produce shopping excursion..we were welcomed into his professional at-home kitchen and started with making authentic margaritas which were sublime. What followed was a curated menu and instruction leading our group through the origins of Mexican cooking and how simple ingredients done right elevate flavors. For foodies this is a must.

Response from the operator: Hola! We highly appreciate your kind words on this review, hope to see you again soon!

Cooking culture experience

This was an amazing adventure. We began in the local market choosing our fresh ingredients for cooking. We stopped by the tortilla factory and sampled fresh corn tortillas before heading to create great food!

Response from the operator: Thank you for making us a part of your visit to San Jose Del Cabo! Cheers!

Great way to spend a day

This class was wonderful. We loved learning about picking out the produce we needed to make mole. My mom and I were the only ones in the class even though we signed up for the group class. Others just did not sign up for the day we chose. Plan to be busy for many hours. We were shopping and cooking for 4 hours but it was completely worth our time.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to write a review for us, we highly appreciate your visit. Gracias!

Amazing Cooking Class!

We had the absolute best time at our cooking lesson today! Francisco was a fantastic host—not only did we get to make amazing, delicious food, but we also learned so much about the local culture and agriculture here in Cabo. It was such a fun, immersive, and educational experience. If you’re looking for a unique and memorable activity, we highly recommend booking this!

Response from the operator: Thank you for the high recommendation! We’ll be happily waiting for your next visit in San Jose Del Cabo, gracias!

San Jose del Cabo Cooking Class Experience and Local Markets: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Los Cabos.

How much does San Jose del Cabo Cooking Class Experience and Local Markets cost?

+

Prices start at $1499 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Los Cabos usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does San Jose del Cabo Cooking Class Experience and Local Markets take?

+

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Los Cabos is not rushed.

Is San Jose del Cabo Cooking Class Experience and Local Markets worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 264 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Los Cabos, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule San Jose del Cabo Cooking Class Experience and Local Markets?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is San Jose del Cabo Cooking Class Experience and Local Markets suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 6. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 5-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book San Jose del Cabo Cooking Class Experience and Local Markets?

+

Around 92 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Los Cabos can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Los Cabos and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does San Jose del Cabo Cooking Class Experience and Local Markets start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Los Cabos within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Los Cabos?

+

On Outty we rank every Los Cabos experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ziplining and UTV Desert Adventure from Los Cabos, Cabo 4x4 ATV Tour with Tequila Tasting and Mexican Buffet Lunch, Cabo Beach Camel Ride, Mexican Buffet and Tequila Tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Los Cabos?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Los Cabos?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
