Enjoyed our time!

We got lucky it ended up being a private tour since it was just my husband and I! Our tour guide Alan was great! We really enjoyed the tour! Especially the tequila tastings at the end!!! We did 3 tacos spots, chocolate and tequila tasting, there was dessert option at the end but we were full by then!!

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us! We are delighted that you and your wife had such a memorable evening in San José del Cabo.

Great way to experience San Jose Del Cabo

First off, Alan is the best guide ever!!! It ended up being just my wife and I that signed up so we got a “private” tour. Alan was very happy to share the rich history and culture with us and the food spots were incredible. We really loved the birria tacos at their kitchen and the tequila tasting was fantastic, my wife doesn’t like it too much based on past experience but we ended up buying a bottle. The real highlight was my wife making a comment that she wanted to buy local pottery so Alan FaceTimed a shop owner who showed us around his shop before we walked over there. That’s next level service that I know isn’t common but very much appreciated. This was a 11/10 experience and I can’t recommend it enough

Response from the operator: Wow, what a fantastic shoutout! Thank you so much for recommending our tour! Alan is truly one-of-a-kind, and we love that he went above and beyond to connect you with a local pottery shop right on the spot. Supporting our local community and giving our guests an unforgettable, personal experience is exactly why we do what we do. We're so glad you loved the birria tacos and the tequila tasting (kudos to your wife for giving it another chance and finding a bottle to take home!). Come back and see us again soon!

lovely evening

Alan was a great guide and we had a lovely evening walking through San Jose del Cabo and trying different tacos. We started at a little bodega to get a water or soft drink of our choice (no extra cost), then we went to three different taco locations to try one taco at each place. They were all delicious! We particularly loved the carne asada one at the actual Juan More Taco place. We also went to the chocolate factory to learn about the history of chocolate in Mexico and sampled some different kinds. We skipped the tequila tasting because we don’t drink but Alan made sure to walk us out personally and brought us to get some churros to end the evening. For the actual food we got the tour was a little expensive but we were happy to support them and enjoyed chatting with Alan and the other family we were with on the tour.

Response from the operator: Thank you for the kind words! Alan was so happy to host you and your group. We’re glad the carne asada and chocolate tasting hit the mark, and that the churro finale was a sweet way to end the night! We appreciate your honest feedback and your support of our local tour. We wish you all the best on your future travels!

Good

Alan our tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable. We enjoyed our time with him. We went to two restaurants and then two food trucks at the town Square. I would’ve preferred all restaurants instead of the food trucks.

Response from the operator: Thank you for making us a part of your visit to San Jose del Cabo! Hope to see you again soon! Gracias!

San Jose del Cabo Evening Taco Experience: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Los Cabos.

How much does San Jose del Cabo Evening Taco Experience cost?

+

Prices start at $599 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Los Cabos usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does San Jose del Cabo Evening Taco Experience take?

+

Plan for about 2.8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Los Cabos is not rushed.

Is San Jose del Cabo Evening Taco Experience worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 135 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Los Cabos, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule San Jose del Cabo Evening Taco Experience?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is San Jose del Cabo Evening Taco Experience suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 2. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 2.8-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book San Jose del Cabo Evening Taco Experience?

+

Around 47 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Los Cabos can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Los Cabos and add a light layer if any part of the 2.8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does San Jose del Cabo Evening Taco Experience start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Los Cabos within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Los Cabos?

+

On Outty we rank every Los Cabos experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ziplining and UTV Desert Adventure from Los Cabos, Cabo 4x4 ATV Tour with Tequila Tasting and Mexican Buffet Lunch, Cabo Beach Camel Ride, Mexican Buffet and Tequila Tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Los Cabos?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Los Cabos?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
