    Great tour!

We had a great tour with Alan! Food was delicious. There were options we would have never tried on our own had it not been for the tour!

Response from the operator: Muchas gracias! Hope to see you again soon

    Great food and plenty of...

Great food and plenty of it. Be prepared that not all the stops have air conditioning but it was still ok, even in July. Our guide (Alan) made sure that he mixed up the warm stops and the cool ones to help us out. Alan was very knowledgeable, had great English skills, and a great sense of humor.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to write a review for us! We highly appreciate your visit.

    Fantastic tour! Highly informative!

This was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend it to everyone who is interested in such a tour. Hector "the Connector" was a fantastic tour guide and took us to some locations we would have never have thought to explore or felt comfortable to explore on our own. Everyone was extremely welcoming of us and we got to try to some fantastic and very authentic food. Our only disappointments were that instead of going to a chocolate store that was apparently closed on the day we were touring, we were taken to a jewelry store. The store was lovely, but not really in the scope of the tour we'd been expecting. But truly, all in all, a fantastic tour! And informative! Hector had lots of great info about the region and history.

Response from the operator: Thank you for the glowing recommendation! We’re delighted that Hector guided you to local gems you wouldn’t have found otherwise and that you enjoyed the delicious food and history of San José del Cabo. Thank you as well for pointing out the detour to the jewelry store. While our guides do quick rerouting when a scheduled food vendor is closed, we agree that a food tour alternative should stay focused on local flavors! We are taking your notes to heart to ensure our backup stops match the spirit of the tour. We hope to host you again for another tasty adventure in the future! Best regards,

San Jose del Cabo Tacos and Food Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Los Cabos.

How much does San Jose del Cabo Tacos and Food Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $91 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Los Cabos usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does San Jose del Cabo Tacos and Food Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Los Cabos is not rushed.

Is San Jose del Cabo Tacos and Food Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 85 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 320 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in Los Cabos, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule San Jose del Cabo Tacos and Food Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is San Jose del Cabo Tacos and Food Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book San Jose del Cabo Tacos and Food Tour?

    +

Around 112 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Los Cabos can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Los Cabos and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does San Jose del Cabo Tacos and Food Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Los Cabos within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Los Cabos?

    +

On Outty we rank every Los Cabos experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ziplining and UTV Desert Adventure from Los Cabos, Cabo 4x4 ATV Tour with Tequila Tasting and Mexican Buffet Lunch, Cabo Beach Camel Ride, Mexican Buffet and Tequila Tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Los Cabos?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Los Cabos?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
