Best Way to see Yosemite with Eileen as the guide.
It was fantastic mainly due to the amazing guide Eileen. It was informative, relaxing, fun and thoughtful of the group’s needs and most enjoyable. Eileen provided us with geographical and historical information that allowed us to get a really good feel of the majestic landscape. She timed every stop perfectly and was ready with snacks & water and regular check in along the way. Overall a huge thank you to Eileen to motivate us to come again and use the same company

Buyer beware - This tour is not guaranteed to run
The tour operator Discoveryosemite.com needs a minimum of four passengers to make the tour operate. If the tour company Discoveryosemite.com cannot meet that 4-pax minimum at last minute, then the company will cancel the whole tour, and this can happen at last minute as well. Be aware of this when making reservations for hotels, transfers and other relevant arrangements for this tour, as you may not end up being on or taking the tour after all. Both tripadvisor.com and discoveryosemite do not make this fact clear on their advertised booking page overview, and there is no way of knowing this until it is communicated you after you have booked the tour and have a confirmed booking - the confirmed booking bears no weight, as Discoveryosemite.com will stay cancel the tour anyway, without having met the 4-passenger minimum to operate the tour. Please be aware and book with other tour operates who can guarantee you that their tour will operate and run, as per the confirmed booking dates and times that you have a confirmed booking for, and have made the relevant travel arrangements for. Thanks
Response from the operator: Let me start out by saying we sincerely hate to have to cancel a tour due to not having the minimum to run, but at times it does happen and we give guests every opportunity to cancel without penalty should it occur. Our minimum requirement is clear across all platforms and is typical for tour operators all over the world. This guest was emailed a confirmation from our booking system 23 days prior to her scheduled tour. Our confirmation clearly states that we require the equivalent of 4 adults for a tour to run. We know that this person received the confirmation because she replied to it. She was also notified again 7 days prior to her tour date that we had not yet reached the minimum to run and we offered alternatives at that time. She was also told that she would not be charged if the tour was canceled. She was even given to option to cancel at no charge. Since then, she has repeatedly emailed our staff with demands, complaints and insults, continuing for days after the tour would have taken place. After weeks of sending her proof that we fully disclose our minimum policy (with screenshots from Viator and Tripadvisor) we finally had to tell her that we would no longer respond to her correspondence to which she replied with a 9-paragraph email full of more demands and insults. This will be the first time in 30 years in business that we have ever found it necessary to block someone’s emails.

Perfect tour
Eileen was by far the best guide we could have asked for. She has an intimate knowledge of the park and also a lot of knowledge and cool information about the History of Yosemite. Being on a Father Son trip with my 11 year old, I was wondering if he would make the 8 hour day, but time flew with the majestic sights and stories. We had a great time, I highly recommend Eileen.
