    About this experience

Private Tour is too expensive and Bus Group tours are not very personal. This is a perfect tour for you. Usually there will be only one other couple or two. We guarantee no more then 8 people on this trip. Sometimes you may be lucky and the only group on the tour and we will still honor our commitment and not cancel the trip. The guide gets ample time to work with each couple one on one and you are not in a herd of sheep. Departing Fresno or Oakhurst, this 8-hour tour of Yosemite National Park covers some of the Yosemite Valley's natural highlights. Capture photos of Bridalveil Falls, Half Dome, Yosemite Falls and Yosemite’s high country, and hike down the 4-Mile Trail between spring and fall. Ahwahnee Lunch, entrance fees, and hotel pickup and drop-off are included. Please note if you plan to do the 4 mile hike there will not be enough time for you to have lunch in Ahwahnee so we will provide you with a picnic lunch. Yosemite at its best – thanks to Daniel!

Our guide, Daniel, was an absolute gem! A true gentleman and full of amazing local knowledge about the area. Our family of 5 had an amazing time, were picked up direct from our accommodation and saw all the amazing sights of Yosemite. We went for the picnic option and the food was great, bettered only by the beautiful location where we stopped to eat. All in all, we highly recommend this tour!

Mike is the best tour guide

Mike was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide. He showed us all the well known sites and a few hidden ones

    Terrible experience

    1. The company or tour guide chose not to place the third seat in the back of the van - cramming myself and my father basically one seat through mountain winding roads 2 the tour guide rarely told us anything about the park. When he did he mumbled so no one could hear him. He also refused to use the microphone-learned nothing Overall - terrible

Response from the operator: Hi Christopher, I am so sorry you had bad experience with our tour. You were the last to board the van it seems. All the seats in the van are individual seats, and we have no control over who sits where. The van has 10 seats and total clients were 8. I know Mike uses headset in the van and I will talk to him about your comments. Please let us know if you planning to come back this way and we make things right for you.

Semi Private Yosemite Tour with Ahwahnee Lunch and Hotel Pickup: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Yosemite National Park.

How much does Semi Private Yosemite Tour with Ahwahnee Lunch and Hotel Pickup cost?

    +

Prices start at $250 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Yosemite National Park usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Semi Private Yosemite Tour with Ahwahnee Lunch and Hotel Pickup take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Yosemite National Park is not rushed.

Is Semi Private Yosemite Tour with Ahwahnee Lunch and Hotel Pickup worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 80 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 119 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Yosemite National Park, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Semi Private Yosemite Tour with Ahwahnee Lunch and Hotel Pickup?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Semi Private Yosemite Tour with Ahwahnee Lunch and Hotel Pickup suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Semi Private Yosemite Tour with Ahwahnee Lunch and Hotel Pickup?

    +

Around 42 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Yosemite National Park can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Yosemite National Park and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Semi Private Yosemite Tour with Ahwahnee Lunch and Hotel Pickup start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Yosemite National Park within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Yosemite National Park?

    +

Yosemite tours cover Valley loops to El Capitan and Half Dome viewpoints, Glacier Point sunsets, Mariposa Grove sequoias and waterfall hikes in spring melt. Day trips from San Francisco run long, so we weight transparency on drive time. On Outty we rank every Yosemite National Park experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Yosemite Highlights Small Group Tour, Yosemite Valley Private Hiking Tour, Yosemite Winter Highlights Small Group Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Yosemite National Park?

    +

May to June for waterfalls, September to October for quiet trails. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Yosemite National Park?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
