Amazing Climb Kili
Beautiful, lifetime experience. From booking, to the actual hike, Climb Kili was absolutely perfect. Raymond, Norbert, and Emmanuel were the most gracious, patient, professional and perfect guides to take our team of 5 up the mountain. They were always utilizing safety first, while still making sure we saw everything and were explained new things only in Africa. The acclimitization aspect was efficiently explained and executed during entire ascent and descent. The porter staff was amazing and the entire team from cook, to sanitation and bathroom, to serving tea and coffee was absolutely amazing. Simon made incredible food, Ellie was the best server on the planet, Johnny made our summit day so much easier. The porters were so friendly and danced and sang songs with us. They even made a special birthday for my girlfriend and made a cake on the mountain and sang and danced. Absolutely the best experience with Climb Kili.
Response from the operator: Raymond, Norbert, Emmanuel, Simon, Ellie, Johnny and a birthday cake on the mountain for the second review in a row. That crew is out here setting the bar impossibly high and then clearing it every single time. What stands out here is the detail. It's one thing to say the guides were great — it's another to notice that Simon's food was exceptional, that Ellie's energy after a long day of hiking made everything better, that Johnny quietly made summit day easier when it counted most. That level of care runs through the whole team, top to bottom. A team of 5, a girlfriend's birthday celebrated at altitude, porters dancing and singing — that's not a tour, that's a memory your whole group will be telling people about for the rest of their lives. So glad it was everything you hoped for and more. Thank you for naming everyone they deserve every bit of it. Asante Sana! (Thank you) 💚🏔️

Climb Kili is THE company to hike with!
I am so glad I went with Climb Kili (machame route). The team was incredible from start to finish. This is a very challenging tour and the team made sure that I accomplished what I set out to accomplish by helping me along the way. Day one I had some hesitations that I’d be able to get through the whole route but they encouraged me. Day 2 they greeted us with a beautiful Tanzanian song welcome that really lifted the morale and they made a cake on the mountain for my birthday. On summit day, they helped me with my daypack on the way up and back down so that I’d have enough energy for the 14 hours of hiking. The food they fed us every day was excellent (better than food we were eating at hotels the days prior) and it certainly helped with the loss of appetite at altitude. Our waiter had such a lovely spirit, always smiling and it made me feel so much better after an exhausting hike to be greeted by him. The bathroom tent for the group was such a relief. The public bathrooms were very smelly and dirty but our bathroom tent was kept very clean and had an actual toilet. It was always positioned close enough to our tents that going in the middle of the night didn’t bother me. I want to give a special thank you to Raymond, Emmanuel, and Norbert and the rest of their team.
Response from the operator: A birthday cake. On the mountain. At altitude. Raymond, Emmanuel, and Norbert that is next level. From the hesitation on day one to summiting after 14 hours on summit day that arc is everything. The fact that the team noticed you needed help with your daypack and just quietly took care of it without making a big deal out of it? That's the kind of attentiveness that gets people to the top. And the birthday song, the food that beat the hotels, the waiter with that smile after every exhausting day, the bathroom tent positioned perfectly so midnight trips weren't a nightmare — none of that happens by accident. That's a crew that genuinely cares about every single detail of your experience. So glad you pushed through that day one doubt. You made it, and you did it right. Asante Sana! (Thank you) 💚🏔️

Best experience of my life
I have no words to describe how exceptional and wonderful my experience climbing Mount Kilimanjaro was.... Climb Kili made sure it was all possible!! From the logistics, the way they take care of you, of all your needs, how attentive they are in every way possible. And most important how amazing they are at motivating you in order for you to reach your goal of summiting. In top of that, the whole crew was phenomenal!!! So happy and cheerful. Such amazing energy!!! Some of the most amazing persons I have ever met. My main guide was Amani and Godwin and Isaiah were my assistant guides. Couldn't have asked for better guides. The best of the best. They made sure my group and I were at 100% to summit and we did. Thanks to them. The experience was 100/10. I would do it all over again with them if I could. 100% recommended.
Response from the operator: "100/10" — we're keeping that one forever. Amani, Godwin, and Isaiah are going to hear about this review and honestly, they deserve every word. That combination of attentiveness, energy, and the ability to pull someone through to the summit when it gets hard — that's not something you can fake at altitude. It's who they are. The fact that you'd do it all over again with the same crew says everything. That's the kind of trip we pour everything into creating for every single climber. So glad you made it to the top. Welcome to the club! Asante Sana! (Thank you) 💚🏔️

AMAZING EXPERIENCE!! Great Company to work with!
We (group of 8, 50-60-ish in age) did the 7-day Machame Route in early August 2026, with the ClimbKili team, and I certainly cant recommend them highly enough! We had an AMAZING experience with the ClimbKili team, and we cant say enough nice things about them. Our guides - Emmanuel, Gabriel, Eugene and Eric were top-notch! They encouraged us to push ourselves appropriately and were always there to help when we were close to our limits. The entire support team of porters, cooks and others did a wonderful job of setting up camp for us. The toilets were always clean and working well, the tents were set up perfectly, and our bags were in place by the time we reached, every time! The fact that rental items were available easily at the start made it very smooth and helped us be fully prepared (even as we realized a couple of us needed additional items). We appreciated the small group experience immensely, as all of us were in similar physical condition and could largely stay together in terms of pace vs. being part of a much larger group with varied capabilities. The fact that the same support team stayed with us throughout the hike was great, and they worked so incredibly hard to make it seamless! They were always super friendly, super helpful and super professional in every way! On a personal note, I celebrated my birthday on the final descent day and the team threw one of the most memorable celebrations of my life for me at the restaurant in Mweka!! They went over and above despite being exhausted from the 7 days, and breathed new life into all of us with their joyous singing and dancing. Every future celebration is going to feel boring now! These guys have an incredible team, and it translated into a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience for all of us. We appreciated the communication and support - from booking the trip and answering all our questions, through the final transport to the airport for our return. Great to work with, highly recommend ClimbKili!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this incredible review! 💚🏔️ What a wonderful way to celebrate your birthday—and we're honored that the team made it one of the most memorable celebrations of your life! We'll be sure to share your kind words with Emmanuel, Gabriel, Eugene, Eric, and the entire mountain crew. It's fantastic to hear how their encouragement, professionalism, and constant support helped your group of eight stay together and feel cared for throughout the seven-day Machame Route. From perfectly prepared camps and clean toilets to having your bags ready when you arrived, our support crew works incredibly hard behind the scenes, and we're so glad you noticed. We're also happy the gear rentals helped make your preparation easier and that the small group experience worked so well for your group. But your birthday celebration at Mweka really made us smile after seven demanding days, seeing the team still bring out the singing, dancing, and energy to celebrate with you is exactly the kind of moment we hope you'll remember forever! Thank you for trusting Climb Kili from the first questions and booking arrangements all the way through to your airport transfer. Knowing your group had a once-in-a-lifetime experience means so much to us. We're incredibly grateful for your recommendation and for recognizing the people who made the journey special. Asante Sana! 💚

Fantastic Experience
I can’t say enough about our experience. Everything was handled very well by multiple staff members (pick up, drop off, communication, assistance & support, etc). The porters “busted their butts” to make this journey possible and were very social & interactive. Our guides (Florian, Goodlove, and Freddy) and our lead guide Herment were fantastic - knowledgeable, experienced, professional, helpful, and simply enjoyable to be with!! We spoke to various groups and people, and it appears Climb Kili may be the best tour group with the best employees, who appreciate their jobs and working for Climb Kili - this is quite impressive. Finally, we also did a three day Safari with Climb Kili that was equally impressive and well run!! I would book with them again in a heartbeat and would strongly recommend Climb Kili, Herment, and his group!!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for such a wonderful review! It means a lot to hear that you noticed the care and teamwork from everyone, especially our porters who work incredibly hard behind the scenes to make the climb possible. We'll be sure to share your kind words with Herment, Florian, Goodlove, Freddy, and the entire crew. We're also so happy you continued on to the safari and had another great experience with us. Thank you for your trust and recommendation, we'd love to welcome you back to Tanzania for another adventure. Asante Sana!

7-Day Machame Kilimanjaro Summit Tour from Arusha: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Arusha.
How much does 7-Day Machame Kilimanjaro Summit Tour from Arusha cost?
+
Prices start at $2965 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Arusha usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 7-Day Machame Kilimanjaro Summit Tour from Arusha take?
+
Plan for about 168 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Arusha is not rushed.
Is 7-Day Machame Kilimanjaro Summit Tour from Arusha worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 85 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 206 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Arusha, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 7-Day Machame Kilimanjaro Summit Tour from Arusha?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 7-Day Machame Kilimanjaro Summit Tour from Arusha suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 168-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 7-Day Machame Kilimanjaro Summit Tour from Arusha?
+
Around 72 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Arusha can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Arusha and add a light layer if any part of the 168-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 7-Day Machame Kilimanjaro Summit Tour from Arusha start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Arusha within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Arusha?
+
On Outty we rank every Arusha experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Materuni Waterfalls, coffee tour & Kikuletwa Hot Springs, 4 Days Group Camping Safari, 3 Days Serengeti & Ngorongoro Group Camping Safari. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Arusha?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Arusha?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
