Unvergessliches Erlebnis
We were on Safari in Tansania, booked with Tansania Specialist from 13th until 19th August 2026. We were very satisfied with the organization. The lodges (Samoa River Lodge in Arusha, Foot on Africa Lodge war fabtastisch, die Osoua Tented Lodge in der Serengeti, Mnayara Best View einfach super) during the safari were all good to very good. Our Safari guide Ally Shabani Killo is a warmhearted man, extremely reliable, always helpful and a very skilled driver. He mastered even the most difficult sections of the route with great skill. Ally always guided us safely through the wilderness and took good care of us. He took us to fascinating locations, he stopped his Jeep whenever we asked him to stop. We saw the big 5. We had plenty of time to observe the animals and to take pictures in the Tarangiri Nationalpark, the Serengeti Nationalpark and the Ngorongoro Area. It was simply overwhelming. Our guide Ally Shabani Killo posseses very good German and English skills. So we were able to learn a lot from him. He was always ready to listen to our questions and requests. All in all we had a wonderful and unforgettable Time on our Safari. We highly recommend a Safari with Tansania Specialist and of course our guide Ally Shabani Killo.

Excellent 4-day camping itinerary with Jeremy.
If you want to cover the main parks without spending a fortune, this 4-day group camping route by Suricata Safaris is the way to go. Having a full day dedicated to Tarangire was a big plus since the baobab trees and giant elephant families are amazing to photograph. Jeremy was our guide—always punctual, super patient, and answered all our questions about park ecology. Tents were clean, sleeping gear provided was solid, and the campfire dinners with the rest of the group were a nice bonus each night.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us. We’re thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your safari and that we were able to meet your expectations. Your feedback means a great deal to our team, and it was truly a pleasure hosting you on this adventure. We hope to welcome you again in the future for another unforgettable journey.

Highlights from our 4 Days Group Camping Tour.
Quick notes for anyone considering this tour with Suricata Safaris: Route: Covered Tarangire (day 1), almost 2 days exploring Serengeti, and wrapped up with a 6-hour floor tour of Ngorongoro Crater. Guiding: Jeremy was exceptional—calm behind the wheel and navigated tricky dirt tracks smoothly. Camp Life: Camping gear was maintained well, hot cooked meals provided every evening, and safe campsite locations. A solid, authentic 4-day safari that gives you a genuine feel of the wilderness.
Response from the operator: - Thank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time to share your experience! We’re thrilled to hear you enjoyed your safari and that our team made your journey memorable. It was a pleasure having you with us, and we’re so happy we could be a part of your adventure.

An authentic African wilderness adventure with Jeremy.
Four days out in the Tanzanian bush with Suricata Safaris, and honestly, we’re still processing how incredible it all was. Camping under the star-filled sky, hearing distant wildlife calls at night, and waking up to fresh morning air—this group trip was worth every single dollar. The real heart of this trip was Jeremy, our guide. You can tell within five minutes of meeting him that he doesn't just do this as a job; he truly loves the wilderness. He has this sharp eye for spotting animals hidden in thick bushes that the rest of us would’ve driven right past. He took time to explain animal tracking, answered our endless questions, and always made sure everyone in the vehicle had a great view for photos. Everything arranged by Suricata Safaris was smooth and honest. The camp meals cooked on site were surprisingly fresh and warm, the 4x4 handled the rough terrain effortlessly, and the overall pace felt just right. If you want a real, grounded camping safari experience in Tanzania, ask for Jeremy and go with Suricata.
Response from the operator: We’re grateful for your feedback and for choosing us. While we’re pleased you enjoyed the experience, we apologize for any parts that fell short and will use your comments to improve.

Why this scores 92
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
4 Days Group Camping Safari: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Arusha.
How much does 4 Days Group Camping Safari cost?
+
Prices start at $850 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Arusha usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 4 Days Group Camping Safari take?
+
Plan for about 96 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Arusha is not rushed.
Is 4 Days Group Camping Safari worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 92 out of 100, which we label "90+ Club". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 1,344 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Arusha, and how flexible the cancellation terms are. Scoring 90 or above puts it in the Outty 90+ Club, the top tier of everything we rank.
Can I cancel or reschedule 4 Days Group Camping Safari?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 4 Days Group Camping Safari suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 96-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book 4 Days Group Camping Safari?
+
Around 470 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Arusha can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Arusha and add a light layer if any part of the 96-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 4 Days Group Camping Safari start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Arusha within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Arusha?
+
On Outty we rank every Arusha experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Materuni Waterfalls, coffee tour & Kikuletwa Hot Springs, 3 Days Serengeti & Ngorongoro Group Camping Safari, 5 Days Group Camping Safari. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Arusha?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Arusha?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
