Arusha to Tarangire national park After early breakfast, proceed for a full day game drive at tarangire National Park with picnic with picnic lunches at Dinner and overnight at Sun bright campsite It’s the national park which herds of up to 300 elephants scrape the waterless river bed for alternative streams, while nomadic wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest and eland mass the decrease lagoons. It's the most attentiveness of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem - a smorgasbord for predators – and the one place in Tanzania where dry-country antelope such as the stately fringe-eared Oryx and peculiar long-necked gerenuk are regularly practical. I highly recommend traveling with a Tanzanian owned company and Meru Slopes is an excellent option. My wife and I took our honeymoon trip with Meru Slopes and it was incredible! Our guide, Daniel Mbise was very knowledgeable, experienced and friendly and we appreciated his expertise leading our safari. We couldn't have asked for a better guide! He helped us see all the animals we were hoping to see and get some great photos as well. We saw all the big five, witnessed a dramatic crossing, and learned cool facts about some of the smaller and lesser known animals as well. Shadrack was excellent at coordinating the whole trip, facilitating transfers, and making sure everything was going well.

The Best Safari Tour Experience
Meru Slopes is the real deal. They had everything organized from picking me up at my hotel to my departure from Arusha. We were well taken cared of the whole time we are on the tour - making sure we're comfortable in our accommodations and are safe. We had the best meal in the camp (thanks, Yohani, you're the best chef!!!) and the best guide/driver (thanks, Heli). I also want to give a shoutout to Ignas who has been sooo patient when I was booking the tour, answering all my questions and even made the effort to orient me the day before the tour and show me around Arusha when I came back from safari. Ignas is a gem (thanks, Ignas). So if you're planning to go on Safari, I highly recommend Meru Slopes.

We’d really recommend!
We had the 4 days safari tour and really enjoyed it. We didn’t know that you don’t get the 4 full days, so the first day we got an Arusha city tour which included the Cultural Heritage Art Gallery and two markets which was really interesting to see. We came from Moshi (which is 2.5 hours from Arusha instead of the airport pickup which would’ve been 30 minutes max.) they made sure to pick us up from there which was really nice, thanks to Kelvin. After the trip we were also brought back. The next three days we joined two other couples. The tour guide, Samuel, was great. He knew a lot about the animals and answered every question we had if he could. Also our cook, Elijah, was amazing. (Even though he is just learning English, we could understand him very well!) The food was good and had a lot of variety so there’s something for everyone. We even had two vegetarian people which worked great. It’s good to know that there is a shower, but there’s a possibility of it being cold, which worked for us because it is not that cold. We saw all of the animals from the Big Five, the ride itself was good. There was enough space and drinks for everyone. If you do get hungry, the cook makes sure you can take what’s leftover from breakfast or lunch to eat in the car later. We’d really recommend and again a big shoutout to Samuel and Elijah (and Kelvin)

4 Day Safari in Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater
Overall we had a great experience with Meru Slopes for our 4 day safari. We had ample time in Tarangire NP, the Serengeti, and the Ngorongoro Crater to see all the animals we were wanting to see and all the big 5! Our guide Emanuel was very knowledgeable and informative about all the animals and very accommodating for our entire group. The food was also very good and the airport pickup went smoothly. We went for the budget option (tent camping in the parks) so only do this if you’re comfortable with hearing the animals out and around your tent during the night!
