Fantastic Experience!!
I went on a safari with Serengeti African Tours in August 2026, in a group of 5 people, for 7 days. It was a fantastic experience. From the initial booking, they were always attentive, especially Evaness, who always answered my questions. We did a safari through the North and Central Serengeti and were able to see the great wildebeest migration, crossing the Mara River several times. I highly recommend staying more than one day in the North Serengeti to see the migration and experience staying in a temporary camp in the middle of the savanna. The Ngorongoro Crater was another highlight, a must-see on the tour. The safari vehicle had water, soft drinks, beer, and wine available in a cooler. The lodges prepared a daily food kit for us (lunch and snacks), which was great, allowing us to make the most of our safari time. The standout of the company for my group was the guide, Lucca. If you have the option to choose, I recommend him. He was always cheerful, friendly, and had great knowledge about African animals and flora. Going on a guided safari is fantastic, Lucca has a trained eye, he could spot hidden animals and knew the best places to look. In short, a fantastic experience! I highly recommend it!

An Absolute Dream Honeymoon – The Trip of a Lifetime with Adrian!
Our 7-day safari was truly the trip of a lifetime and an unforgettable dream honeymoon! Right from day one, we were blown away by the incredible hospitality—receiving a giant, gorgeous bouquet of roses and matching t-shirts to celebrate our honeymoon! The luxury lodges were beyond amazing as well. Returning from a day of game drives to relax and swim in such breathtaking lodges in the evenings was pure bliss. A huge credit goes to our driver-guide, Adrian👍 His communication was always crystal clear, and his detailed explanations made every moment so informative. His spotting skills were mind-blowing—we saw not only the Big 5, but every single animal on our wishlist! Our favorite turned out to be tembo (elephants) ☺️ Adrian also positioned and parked the jeep flawlessly every time, ensuring we had the best up-close views and photo opportunities. Everything about this trip was perfect. We originally planned for the normal 4-5 day safari, but 7 days long was definitely the right choice. From Tarangire to Serengeti to Ngorongoro, the course was perfect. If you are planning a safari or honeymoon, I cannot recommend Adrian and this experience highly enough!

An Unforgettable Safari with Gregory and King David
It is hard to put into words just how incredibly wonderful this safari was. From the very first moment, our two guides, Gregory and King David, made us feel welcome, comfortable, and exceptionally well looked after. Gregory impressed us with his extensive knowledge and outstanding command of the German language. He not only taught us about the wildlife but also shared fascinating insights into the plants, culture, different tribes, and everyday life in Tanzania. This made the safari so much more than just a wildlife experience—it became a fascinating journey into the country and its people. His German is particularly remarkable; even highly specialized terms were translated or explained with ease. He answered every question thoroughly and patiently, and whenever necessary, he could consult with King David and perfectly convey his many years of expertise in German. King David is, without a doubt, the best driver and guide one could wish for. With more than ten years of experience as a safari guide, he possesses an incredible wealth of knowledge and, with his eagle eyes, managed to spot even the most hidden animals. At the same time, he always drove safely and maintained a cheerful attitude throughout the trip. His language skills are equally impressive: besides English, French, and Swahili, he speaks numerous Tanzanian tribal languages. We simply could not have imagined a better guide. The organization was flawless as well. All park entries, breaks, and lunches were perfectly planned—even a lunch served directly at the jeep was arranged for us. For us, six days was the perfect length for the safari. The route through Tarangire, the Serengeti, the Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara was ideal. Our recommendation: definitely spend two nights in the Serengeti! All of the accommodations were outstanding. At Land of Nature Camp, we could even hear lions roaring at night—an unforgettable experience. Every day brought a new highlight. We created memories that will stay with us for a lifetime. Saying goodbye was incredibly difficult because, over those six days, our guides became our friends. We already miss Gregory and King David and can wholeheartedly recommend this safari. Anyone who truly wants to experience Tanzania and enjoy an unforgettable safari will be in the very best hands here.

Amazing.
It was an amazing week. The Peter was really nice, knowledgeable and well organised. He was also the only truck who managed to not get stuck in the mud. We saw the big five!

Chasing Giants: A Safari Beyond Our Wildest Expectations
This safari was, without question, one of the best tours—one of the best vacation experiences—I’ve ever had. We came in with an ambitious checklist of nearly 20 animals we hoped to see (optimistic, I know!), and somehow we saw all but two. Truly incredible. Of course, seeing the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo—is a bucket-list moment for many people, and we were lucky enough to experience that. But if I’m honest, I was just as thrilled—maybe even more so—every time we spotted giraffes. And we saw so many of them. There’s something surreal about watching giraffes move across the landscape so effortlessly, especially when you’re seeing them in the wild. A huge part of what made this safari so exceptional was our guide, Ally. With 15 years of experience, it absolutely showed. He had an uncanny ability to spot animals from remarkable distances—things the rest of us would have completely missed. His driving skills were equally impressive, expertly navigating muddy terrain without getting us stuck (no small feat!). Beyond that, his relationships with other guides meant we were always in the know about where animals had last been seen. That kind of collaboration made a real difference in maximizing our sightings. The lodging was spectacular and elevated the entire experience. On our first night, from our tent alone, we watched six giraffes across the river at sunset—an unforgettable moment that felt almost unreal. The second night’s hotel was second to none; I’m honestly not sure why it wasn’t rated five stars. The comfort, setting, and service were outstanding and provided the perfect balance to the adventure of the days. Every detail—from the wildlife sightings to the guiding expertise to the accommodations—came together seamlessly. This wasn’t just a safari; it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that somehow exceeded even our highest expectations.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your appreciation and for trusting us to host your safari here in Tanzania. Your positive response is our strength and motivation. We are truly happy and honored to welcome you. Our doors in Tanzania will always be open for you, and we look forward to hosting you again.

7-Day Memorable Adventure in Tanzania: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Arusha.
How much does 7-Day Memorable Adventure in Tanzania cost?
+
Prices start at $1000 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Arusha usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 7-Day Memorable Adventure in Tanzania take?
+
Plan for about 168 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Arusha is not rushed.
Is 7-Day Memorable Adventure in Tanzania worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 77 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 20 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Arusha, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 7-Day Memorable Adventure in Tanzania?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 7-Day Memorable Adventure in Tanzania suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 168-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 7-Day Memorable Adventure in Tanzania?
+
Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Arusha can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Arusha and add a light layer if any part of the 168-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 7-Day Memorable Adventure in Tanzania start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Arusha within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Arusha?
+
On Outty we rank every Arusha experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Materuni Waterfalls, coffee tour & Kikuletwa Hot Springs, 4 Days Group Camping Safari, 3 Days Serengeti & Ngorongoro Group Camping Safari. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Arusha?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Arusha?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
