    More Than Just a Trip

I can honestly say that this was one of the most life-changing experiences of my life. From climbing Kilimanjaro to the safari adventure, everything was organized with professionalism, kindness, and genuine care. The team supported me through some of the hardest moments on the mountain, and I will never forget their encouragement, patience, and positive energy. Kilimanjaro was not just a climb for me — it was a personal journey that changed something deep inside me. And thanks to this amazing team, I felt safe, respected, and truly supported every step of the way. The safari was also unforgettable — beautiful landscapes, incredible wildlife, and memories I will carry with me forever. Thank you for giving me more than just a trip. You gave me an experience I will remember for the rest of my life. Highly recommended.

    Experienced encouraging and inspiring staff

Hemedi was the guide and he is very experienced and very careful about safety and listens carefully to the feedback from clients and took overall responsibility for everything. I really wanted to give up at one point in time but he encouraged me and gave me strength and inspiration to make it to the top. The rest of the staff from the cook to the porters were all very kind and helpful and encouraging and inspiring. I would have preferred it if more information was given along the way, including the history of this area of Tanzania and the history of climbing the mountain and interesting stories and the background behind the names of the different campsites.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words and sharing your experience here with us. We are very happy that you were able to reach at the top and you were happy with the services of our guides, a cook and the porters. We will be happy to welcome you once again.

    Highly recommended

A wonderful week in Moshi, including a successful summit of Kilimanjaro, thanks to Jaynevy Tours. From the outset they have been efficient, answering emails and what's app messages quickly. The Kilimanjaro package included airport transfers and a homestay at a lovely place in Moshi, and they looked after my valuables while I was on the mountain. Julius and the team run an efficient operation, the guides were experienced and briefed me before and during the climb. Blood oxygen and health was checked every night. We were first out of camp every morning and first to summit day 4. The food was plentiful and delicious. Definitely recommended.

Response from the operator: Hello Barry. Thank you so much for such kind words. We are happy you had a wonderful week in Moshi, and we appreciate that you appreciate our prompt reply and our quick services along with the services with our experienced guides. We were happy to happy to have you and we will be happy to host you again next time.

7 Day Mount Kilimanjaro via Lemosho Route: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Arusha.

How much does 7 Day Mount Kilimanjaro via Lemosho Route cost?

    +

Prices start at $2100 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Arusha usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 7 Day Mount Kilimanjaro via Lemosho Route take?

    +

Plan for about 168 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Arusha is not rushed.

Is 7 Day Mount Kilimanjaro via Lemosho Route worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Arusha, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 7 Day Mount Kilimanjaro via Lemosho Route?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 7 Day Mount Kilimanjaro via Lemosho Route suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 168-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 7 Day Mount Kilimanjaro via Lemosho Route?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Arusha can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Arusha and add a light layer if any part of the 168-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 7 Day Mount Kilimanjaro via Lemosho Route start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Arusha within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Arusha?

    +

On Outty we rank every Arusha experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Materuni Waterfalls, coffee tour & Kikuletwa Hot Springs, 4 Days Group Camping Safari, 3 Days Serengeti & Ngorongoro Group Camping Safari. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Arusha?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Arusha?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
