Incredible and perfectly organised Safari
We booked the 6 days safari with simba adventures as the start of our honeymoon in Tansania. The booking process was excellent and could be handled over WhatsApp. All of our questions were answers and we were given several options regarding accommodations and routes to choose from. We picked a mix out of lodge and tented accommodations over the six days to visit tarangire, lake manyara, serengeti and ngorongoro national park. Apart from the safari itself Simba Adventures organised the transfer from and to the airport as well as a hotel to stay one night in Arusha before our flight to Sansibar. We were able to contact the mainoffice the whole time and always got a quick answer. As for the safari itself: The experience was simply mindblowing. No picture or documentary comes close to the landscapes, animals and different vegetations we saw along the way. Our Guide Charles was amazing. He has plenty of experience, knows were the animals are and told us a lot about the Parks, Animals and Tanzanian culture. The Accommodations were great and always very well handled with good food and friendly, helpful staff. All in all we were very happy to book with Simba Adventures and will come back to Tanzania some day.
Response from the operator: Hello! Very kind of you indeed, we are appreciative of your comments and happy to hear that you did enjoy your honeymoon safari with us. Again, thank you so much for travel with us.

Incredible Safari experience
I am more than satisfied with our 5 day safari tour in Tarangire, Serengeti, Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro with Simba Adventures. Everything was perfectly organised, the lodges very confortable and the staff very kind. We could enjoy incredible landscapes and could see so many animals from a very short distance. Everything was even better than expected. The best part of our experience was undoubtfully meeting our master driver guide ISAYA. He was really experienced and decisive, a person you can trust. Always smiling and willing to make us feel comfortable. He spoke good Spanish and English to solve all our doubts about wildlife and his culture. Asante ISAYA for this experience.
Response from the operator: Amazing, happy to hear that you had an incredible experience with us. Our guides are our STARS! Many thanks!

Fabulous local company and wonderful safari experience
My partner and I did a 6 day safari to Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Manyana and loved every minute. We chose Simba to ensure we were using a local Tanzanian company with all money staying with locals - and we didn’t regret our decision. The owner / manager Ally was quick to respond to our emails, professional and accommodating of our requests. Our guide Sadi was wonderful - a patient and considerate man who appeared to appreciate the wildlife as much as us - and a good driver who took us at the pace we wanted, stopping hundreds of times to let us take photos or just sit in the peacefulness and watch the animals. A lot of safari trucks seem to zoom along at great speed - not really stopping properly to appreciate the animals - though that may be at guest requests. We stayed at great clean safe lodges and tented lodges with wonderful staff and saw every animal we hoped to apart from cheetahs. We were so lucky to see a leopard, lots of lions and loads of other animals at close quarters. Plus around 67 different birds. I can’t recommend Simba Adventures highly enough and would definitely use them again. I really recommend anyone looking to do a safari to use a fully-owned Tanzanian company so that your money benefits locals rather than going to large international tour companies.
Response from the operator: Dear Lisa, Thanks for the great comments. Your big smile is our pleasure! My team and I are so excited to read your trip feedback and we hope to host you again in the near future.

Wonderful Experience With a Fantastic Guide
We recently came back from Tanzania where we were volunteering and we went on a 6 day budget lodge safari during the last week of our vocation. We met Ally Simba sometime back and he agreed to organize a safari that was within our budget. Having being in Tanzania for the last 3 months I had a rough idea about costs and I was quite happy with deal we got from Simba Adventures We had a very beautiful experience touring the different parks starting with Tarangire where we spent a day exploring the park encountering elephants, wildhogs, zebras, waterbuck, giraffes, antelopes and a pack of wilddogs. Our next stop took us to Lake Manyara where we did the board walkway giving us a panoramic view of the park. Of great interest was seeing lions perched on trees. I didn't know that they did that. We then went to Serengeti and spent 2 amazing days in different parks. We even managed to catch-up with the huge herd of wildebeest that was being followed by lions and cheetahs. We finished our safari in Ngorongoro crater and this was absolutely amazing place where we even saw 2 rhinos! We had a great time in Tanzania. A big thank you to Ally Simba and your team for making this happen. I recommend Simba Adventures!
Response from the operator: Hello friends, Thank you so much for reviewing us, this gives us a highlights and motivation of what we should focus on.We are so happy you enjoyed your time in Tanzania. We hope to see you back in the future! Lots of greetings from Simba Adventures team.

6-Day Budget Lodge Safari in Tanzania: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Arusha.
How much does 6-Day Budget Lodge Safari in Tanzania cost?
+
Prices start at $1870 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Arusha usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 6-Day Budget Lodge Safari in Tanzania take?
+
Plan for about 144 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Arusha is not rushed.
Is 6-Day Budget Lodge Safari in Tanzania worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Arusha, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 6-Day Budget Lodge Safari in Tanzania?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 6-Day Budget Lodge Safari in Tanzania suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 6. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 144-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book 6-Day Budget Lodge Safari in Tanzania?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Arusha can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Arusha and add a light layer if any part of the 144-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 6-Day Budget Lodge Safari in Tanzania start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Arusha within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Arusha?
+
On Outty we rank every Arusha experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Arusha Guided City Tour &Hotel Pickup (History, Culture &Market, Materuni Waterfalls, coffee tour & Kikuletwa Hot Springs, 5 Days Camping Tarangire, Serengeti & Ngorongoro crater & Visiting Maasai. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Arusha?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Arusha?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
