Best Week Safari
Best Day Safari. Best Week might be a better name as that is exactly what they gave us! We were first time visitors to Africa and throughout the process Best Day were communicative, helpful and informative. Peter was especially good at answering any questions we had. When we arrived everything ran as smoothly as possible and all the accommodation we stayed at was great. But the one person who made sure the trip was amazing was our tour guide, Ally. He was brilliant throughout the whole 6 days we spent with him and made sure that our safari experience was one we will remember for the rest of our lives. Ally was funny and kind and had impeccable English. He was one of the happiest people I have ever met and guided us with a constant smile and an infectious laugh. He saw that we liked Coca Cola and bought us this on more than one occasion and we appreciated this personal touch. He gave us lots of information about all the animals, but more importantly he also explained why they did certain things. He had a sixth sense for what the animals were going to do and regularly predicted something and then the animal did exactly that moments later. This helped us get some amazing views of animals, as well as some spectacular pictures. There were times when we were in a position to see an animal and there was space to move forward for a slightly better view. In my head I would wonder why we didn’t and then moments later, the animal would move and the position we were in would give us a great view. With Ally’s help we saw all of the big 5. We saw dozens of elephants and buffalo, over 20 lions, 4 lion cubs, 2 leopards and 2 of the elusive rhinos. We also saw the incredibly rare serval wildcat and countless zebra, giraffes, gazelle and monkeys. We did get the infamous “African massage” but despite the bumpy roads Ally was an excellent driver prioritising safety over speed which ensured we always felt safe during the, sometimes long, journeys. He also was flexible and included us in deciding what we wanted to do, even if that was different to the original itinerary which we very much appreciated. This collaborative approach enhanced our safari trip hugely. A safari is a once in a lifetime thing, but if we ever do come back, we would want it to be with Ally again. In him, we feel we have made a friend. Asante Sana, Ally.

An unforgettable safari experience in Tanzania
Our 5-day safari in Tanzania was truly one of the most incredible experiences of our lives. From the very first day, we were amazed by the breathtaking landscapes, the incredible wildlife, and the beauty of the Tanzanian nature. Every day brought something new and exciting, and we created memories that we will carry with us forever. But what made this safari truly special and unforgettable was our guide, Joseph. He is not only extremely knowledgeable and professional, but also a genuinely kind, friendly, and caring person. Joseph has an incredible ability to spot animals that we would never have noticed, and he shared so much fascinating information with us throughout the entire journey. His passion for his work and his love for Tanzania made every game drive even more exciting. Thanks to Joseph, we never felt like we were simply tourists on a safari — we felt like we were experiencing Tanzania through the eyes of someone who truly loves and knows this incredible country. His kindness, patience, and positive energy made a huge difference and turned an already amazing trip into an unforgettable adventure. The agency was also fantastic from start to finish. They were professional, reliable, extremely helpful, and always available. Communication was excellent, with very quick responses whenever we had a question or needed assistance. Everything was well organized, allowing us to simply relax and enjoy the experience. We honestly could not have asked for a better safari. We highly recommend this agency to anyone dreaming of experiencing Tanzania. And if you are lucky enough to have Joseph as your guide, you are in for something truly special!

Amazing experience thanks to joseph
Our 5‑day Serengeti safari was everything we hoped for and more, and the biggest reason was our guide, Joseph. The Serengeti is extraordinary on its own, but Joseph brought it to life in a way that made the experience feel personal, meaningful, and unforgettable.Joseph has a remarkable ability to read the landscape. He seemed to understand the rhythm of the plains — where animals might move, how they behave, and what signs to look for. Thanks to him, we witnessed moments we never imagined seeing in real life. The most unforgettable was watching an elephant bravely confront a gang of lions, a raw and powerful scene that left us speechless. It was the kind of moment you don’t just see; you feel it.Joseph also showed us leopards, which we knew were notoriously difficult to find. Somehow, he spotted them in places where we saw nothing but branches and shadows. His patience and sharp eye turned what could have been a lucky sighting into a deeper appreciation of how these animals live and move. Beyond the wildlife, Joseph made every day comfortable, safe, and enjoyable. He answered every question with genuine enthusiasm, shared stories that made the Serengeti’s history and ecology come alive, and always made sure we had the best possible vantage point without disturbing the animals.By the end of the trip, Joseph felt less like a guide and more like a friend — someone who truly cared about giving us the experience of a lifetime. If you’re planning a Serengeti safari, ask for Joseph. He is the kind of guide who turns a great trip into a once‑in‑a‑lifetime memory.
