One of the best safaris I’ve ever experienced

We did a 9-day safari with East Africa Safari Guides, and it was incredible from start to finish. I work as a travel advisor, and I’ve dealt with many operators, so I tend to notice the small details, and these guys truly went above and beyond. They tailored everything to what we wanted, nothing felt rushed, and our guides were fantastic: knowledgeable, patient, and someone we trusted completely. A moment that really showed their care: one of my friend’s boots broke during the trip, and overnight, they went to a nearby village to get it fixed so she wouldn’t miss anything the next day. That kind of attention is rare. Everything! The lodges, routes, and organisation were spot-on. I genuinely recommend them and would book with them again without hesitation.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words! Coming from a fellow travel professional with a keen eye for detail, your feedback means the world to our team. We believe a truly great safari isn't just about the wildlife, but the peace of mind that comes with a tailored, unrushed experience. We are especially proud of our guides for their quick thinking with your friend’s boots—going the extra mile (literally!) is exactly what we strive for. We’ll be sure to pass your praise along to the whole team. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we look forward to welcoming you—or your clients—back to East Africa soon!

    Amazing trip to Tanzania

We made a private 8 day safari prepared especially for us. We are 4 friends who love adventure travel, with safety and comfort. It was all amazing. The super gentle and friendly guides provide a lot of information about the wildlife in the parks we visited and about the ecosystems of each place. Super recommend!!!

Response from the operator: Muito obrigado por esta avaliação incrível. Aguardamos ansiosamente o seu retorno no futuro.

    What an amazing safari!

The safari was excellent and very well organized. Our guide Medady was kind, knowledgeable and took great care of us throughout the trip. The accommodations were excellent, especially the glamping in the Serengeti. The communication with Goodluck was quick and efficient. I truly enjoyed this safari because we saw so many different animals due to our guide Medady knowing where to search. I also enjoyed having lunch in the Serengeti as we enjoyed our surroundings. I would recommend this company.

Response from the operator: Hello Michelle, We are thrilled to receive your wonderful feedback about your recent safari experience with us. Our goal is to provide an authentic and unforgettable safari tour for each and every one of our guests. At East Africa Safari Guides, we believe that a truly exceptional safari goes beyond just seeing animals - it involves having a knowledgeable guide like Medady, luxurious accommodation, attention to detail, and unique experiences like our bush lunches in Tarangire and Serengeti. We are committed to ensuring that every aspect of your safari experience is top-notch, from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. Our team is dedicated to providing the best customer service possible, and we are excited about the possibility of hosting you and your family in the future. Thank you for your support and for being an ambassador for our safari services. We look forward to welcoming you back for another incredible adventure in the wild. Until we meet again!

Exceptional, Hassle-Free Travel Experience – Highly Recommended!

From start to finish, our experience was truly 5-star. Goodluck was incredibly helpful right from the start, assisting us in putting together our itinerary. He was exceptionally patient and ensured everything was arranged to the highest standard. Our guide, Johnson, was just as fantastic throughout the trip. He was super friendly and took great care of us, especially with all the travel involved! For a hassle-free trip, I would highly recommend booking with them!

Response from the operator: Hey Jessica, Just wanted to drop a quick note to say how awesome it was to receive your feedback on your safari experience with us. We're thrilled to hear you had a fantastic time out in the wild! We always strive to provide an authentic safari experience, because we believe it's not just about seeing animals, but also about having a knowledgeable guide like Johson, top-notch accommodation, and attention to all the little details. Experience of a Lifetime

My wife and I traveled to Tanzania to celebrate her birthday, and we were not disappointed. We did not have time for the full five day tour, but the tour company was very accommodating and allowed us to customize a three day tour. Micky, our guide, was outstanding. He was very professional and mindful of our safety at all times. This included excellent driving skills on the highways and in the parks. Micky was constantly plugged into his network of other guides, resulting in real-time information about animal sightings and current locations. This clearly paid dividends. Along the way, Micky shared information about the history, geology and geography of the area, giving us a better understanding of the bigger picture. Upon animal sightings, he shared information with us about each species. There were many close encounters with incredible animals of all types, but the jaw dropping experience on the last day was beyond amazing. Micky positioned the Land Cruiser in the perfect spot, at just the right time, and we witnessed a herd of 40 to 50 elephants crossing the road 10 feet in front of our vehicle. Utterly and absolutely amazing. My wife and I are still smiling! Highly recommended.

5-Day Private Safari Tour in Tanzania's Wildlife: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Arusha.

How much does 5-Day Private Safari Tour in Tanzania's Wildlife cost?

    +

Prices start at $2290 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Arusha usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 5-Day Private Safari Tour in Tanzania's Wildlife take?

    +

Plan for about 120 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Arusha is not rushed.

Is 5-Day Private Safari Tour in Tanzania's Wildlife worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Arusha, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 5-Day Private Safari Tour in Tanzania's Wildlife?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 5-Day Private Safari Tour in Tanzania's Wildlife suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 120-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 5-Day Private Safari Tour in Tanzania's Wildlife?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Arusha can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Arusha and add a light layer if any part of the 120-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 5-Day Private Safari Tour in Tanzania's Wildlife start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Arusha within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Arusha?

    +

On Outty we rank every Arusha experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Materuni Waterfalls, coffee tour & Kikuletwa Hot Springs, 4 Days Group Camping Safari, 3 Days Serengeti & Ngorongoro Group Camping Safari. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Arusha?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Arusha?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
