5 Star Safari! Do not Miss this great value!
This tour was amazing! Shedrack was a top notch guide. The communication was superior to other tours and he showed up on time and helped us with our luggage which had to travel with us and he helped us get to an ATM and transport to our next destination. He did a fantastic job showing us all of the animals (4/5 big 5 spotted ), birds and fauna. He helped us take video and pictures. This is a high value tour and tour guide A++ 10/10! If you want to safari for the day, this is the way to go. The only place for improvement might be the lunch. It was ok, not great but that is the least of what I would remember from the day. Our hotel packed us breakfast so we weren't that hungry any way.

Georgia Girlfriends on the Tarangire Safari
Andrew, our tour guide, has a sharp eye for spotting the animals & birds. He provided information about the local culture and the park. Andrew was kind, considerate, and a gentleman. He ensured we had a memorable experience that we will treasure forever.

I bit dissapointing
The park itself is beautiful, but I was dissapointed not seeing a lot of animals. The park itself was abundant in elephants.

So this has been a really...
So this has been a really great day! Our Tour Guide Jeff came to our Hotel the night before the trip to arrange pick-up-time and to give us eine information about the following day. The pick-up was in time and Düring the two hours drive from Arusha he told us many details about His country and the people. The Safari itself was a great experience, Jeff had the best eyes in the world and helped us to see all the animals we were hoping to see!
via Viator
An increasingly amazing trip. The end: a lioness spotting and hunting a gnu in front of us.
An amazing wild scenery, with unexpected surprises. Thanks to our guide Jeff (excelent and kind professional) we could spot lots of animals (ruminiants, elephants, lions, birds..) and learn a lot about them. We won't forget the massive baobabs. We strongly recommend this experience.

Why this scores 66
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Tarangire National Park: Guided Day Tour from Arusha: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Arusha.
How much does Tarangire National Park: Guided Day Tour from Arusha cost?
+
Prices start at $220 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Arusha usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Tarangire National Park: Guided Day Tour from Arusha take?
+
Plan for about 24 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Arusha is not rushed.
Is Tarangire National Park: Guided Day Tour from Arusha worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Arusha, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Tarangire National Park: Guided Day Tour from Arusha?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Tarangire National Park: Guided Day Tour from Arusha suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 24-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Tarangire National Park: Guided Day Tour from Arusha?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Arusha can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Arusha and add a light layer if any part of the 24-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Tarangire National Park: Guided Day Tour from Arusha start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Arusha within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Arusha?
+
On Outty we rank every Arusha experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Materuni Waterfalls, coffee tour & Kikuletwa Hot Springs, 4 Days Group Camping Safari, 3 Days Serengeti & Ngorongoro Group Camping Safari. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Arusha?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Arusha?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
