    What you'll see and do

    1. Tarangire National Park

Meet up from your hotel around 0800 hrs and drive to Tarangire National Park with picnic lunch box. The park is famous for its giant baobab trees, bush savannah and the seasonal marshes add to the wonder of this nature reserve. The Tarangire National Park is also considered as one of the best places to view elephants up close, not only because there are thousands of animals but also because they are not disturbed by the presence of vehicles. The park is also home to buffaloes, zebras and wildebeests which are always closely followed by a range of predators such as lions. Leopards are seen now and then but cheetahs are rarely spotted. From the open roof of the safari vehicle you will be able to absorb the landscape and watch the animals. After extensive game drive leave the park and drive back to Arusha.

    Wonderful

Ally is a special person, we stayed in Arusha 1 month and he organised every trip for us, meeting all our needs. We decided to do the Chemka hot spring (Moshi), the 1 day trip to Tarangire and the mount meru trip, every trip was well organised, the food was very good and the guides were always very prepared and kind. Highly recommend

Response from the operator: Hello! We're appreciative for your kind support! On behalf of the entire team at Simba Adventures, we thank you so much for giving us an opportunity to organize your trips and activities based on your wishes.

    Great service, highly recommend!

It was Manyara National Park Day Trip. Everything was organized exceptionally at every stage: planning and implementation. Despite other group participants cancelled their trip the tour still took place only for two of us. We are very happy with it. We enjoyed every moment and wish them responsible and respectable clients ☺️🙏

Response from the operator: Very kind of you indeed, we are appreciative of your comments and happy to hear that you did enjoy your tour.

Tarangire Park Day Trip: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Arusha.

How much does Tarangire Park Day Trip cost?

    +

Prices start at $350 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Arusha usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

Is Tarangire Park Day Trip worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Arusha, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

How far in advance should I book Tarangire Park Day Trip?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Arusha can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Arusha and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Arusha?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Arusha?

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
