Unreliable.
Made reservations day before. Arrived to get location and no driver was there. Called company and was told that reservation hadn’t been received until 5am that morning. Therefore there wasn’t anyone available to transport us to our hotel. We had to to make other last-minute arrangements.
Response from the operator: Hello We are truly sorry for what happened and completely understand how stressful and disappointing this must have been for you, especially after arriving and expecting your transport to be ready. This is not the experience we want any of our guests to go through, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and frustration caused, as well as the need for you to quickly arrange alternative transportation. After reviewing your case, we were informed that the reservation was received in our system early that morning, which unfortunately left us with no time to properly assign a driver. That said, we completely understand that from your perspective this resulted in a failed service, and we take full responsibility for the impact this had on your plans. We have already requested a refund for this service as a result of the issue, and it is currently being processed. We are also working internally to improve our booking coordination and response times to prevent situations like this from happening again. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. Best regards

I never took this ride!...
I never took this ride! My flight was delayed due to a storm and they still charged me. I reached out to them way in advance,
Response from the operator: Hi, We’re truly sorry to hear about your experience and completely understand how frustrating and disappointing this situation must have been, especially with the added stress of a flight delay due to bad weather. After carefully reviewing your reservation, we can confirm that your service was scheduled and continuously updated on our end, including adjustments made to accommodate your delayed and missed flight. Our team made every effort to keep your transfer active and aligned with the new arrival details despite the disruption. We sincerely regret if our communication did not meet your expectations during this time. Please note that while we always do our best to accommodate changes, services remain subject to availability, particularly in cases of unexpected disruptions such as weather delays. That said, we truly regret that you were ultimately unable to use the service. Your feedback is very important to us, and we will be reviewing this case internally to improve both our flexibility and communication in situations like this. Kind regards,

Absolutely terrible...
Absolutely terrible experience! My flight was delayed and I was told I would not be accommodated for that and if i did not Make it for my scheduled pick up time then I would miss it and be classified as a no show. I then had to make alternative pick up arrangements and then a driver called me asking where was I when before then I was told I would not be accommodated. I will never book with you all ever again!
Response from the operator: Hello, We are truly sorry that this situation caused frustration and confusion. To clarify, the no-show status was not issued due to your flight delay itself. Our driver was dispatched and remained at the airport for an extended period beyond the complimentary waiting time included with your service. After waiting significantly longer than scheduled and without successful contact, the driver was unfortunately required to proceed to his next assigned service. Due to operational commitments with other passengers who had services scheduled in advance, we are not always able to extend the waiting time indefinitely, especially on days with multiple flight disruptions. We understand how stressful travel delays can be, and we regret that the timing and communication in this case did not align properly. Your feedback is appreciated, and we will continue working to improve coordination in situations involving unexpected delays. Kind regards, Customer Service Team

Ride with Luis
Luis is the best. Great driver and patience to find our destination. A long drive from Cancun to Tulum was more pleasant because of him.

Don’t Book!!
Don’t book! When we arrived there was no one waiting for us. We had to ask multiple people for help before finding someone who told us to just wait. We were supposed to welcomed with our names on a board. Pickup DID NOT happen at all. Called and requested info, no one came or responded. I would not recommend booking through this company at all. Almost made us late for our flight.

Why this scores 39
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Cancun Airport: Shuttle to/from Tulum Hotels: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tulum.
How much does Cancun Airport: Shuttle to/from Tulum Hotels cost?
+
Prices start at $77 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tulum usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Cancun Airport: Shuttle to/from Tulum Hotels take?
+
Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tulum is not rushed.
Is Cancun Airport: Shuttle to/from Tulum Hotels worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 39 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.6/5 across 32 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tulum, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Cancun Airport: Shuttle to/from Tulum Hotels?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Cancun Airport: Shuttle to/from Tulum Hotels suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Cancun Airport: Shuttle to/from Tulum Hotels?
+
Around 11 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tulum can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tulum and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Cancun Airport: Shuttle to/from Tulum Hotels start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tulum within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Tulum?
+
On Outty we rank every Tulum experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tulum Ruins, Turtles in Akumal and Cenote tour, Tulum Guided Tour, Magical Cenote, Lagoon Snorkeling and Beachside Lunch, Chichén Itzá, Cenote and Valladolid with Lunch and transportation. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Tulum?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Tulum?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
