Informative and professional experiential
daudi was our guide and was incredibly informative. Taking us to the markets, explaining all elements and different fruits/veg/spices/meats/medicine men. Neema was our chef, she was really good fun and gave us an honest insight to the role of women in Africa but also how this is changing. I felt incredibly privileged to have spent time with her and for her being as honest as she was. We cooked a meal, but that wasn’t the highlight tbh - spending time with them both and understanding the culture was gar more insightful

Best ever Cooking Class
We only find this is the best tour to experience the local Tanzania cuisine. From start to finish everything was great and super organized. We are travelers that do not like touristic areas and we found the right tour. Our chef was very friendly, local knowledge and storyteller about the Tanzania dishes, culture and sharing the interesting facts behind. Our tour was covered by visiting the local food market for shopping our ingredients for cooking and experience the local market life and learning about all kinds of local Tanzania foods. Our experience in the kitchen was the best and nothing was better than. We were happy for this decision and we take this chance to recommend this tour for all who love a new food experience.

+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Arusha?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
