Best Honeymoon Ever!
Our safari was truly the trip of a lifetime, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience for our honeymoon! Almachius did an incredible job curating the perfect itinerary for us, from exploring Tarangire and the Central and Northern Serengeti to visiting the Ngorongoro Crater. He also arranged three unforgettable nights at the Four Seasons and helped my husband plan a surprise private dinner experience there, making our honeymoon even more special. He even met us at our hotel Gran Melia Arusha on our arrival day to give us a safari briefing, which was nice after talking so long on WhatsApp. Mudy was the most incredible safari guide. From the moment we shared our priorities and the animals we hoped to see, he went above and beyond to make sure we had the opportunity to experience them. We were fortunate enough to see a black rhino in the Serengeti, which was an unforgettable highlight! One day, we were talking about how much we wanted to see another leopard, and Mudy listened carefully for its call and ultimately helped us find one. His knowledge of wildlife and ability to anticipate animal behavior were truly exceptional. Beyond his expertise, Mudy always made sure we had the best photo opportunities and never rushed our experiences. He encouraged us to stay longer whenever we wanted to take in a special sighting, allowing us to fully appreciate those incredible moments in the wild. He even added a “Just Married” tire cover to the back of our safari jeep, which was such a thoughtful touch and made us feel extra special as newlyweds. Meru Slopes made our experience incredible and I couldn’t recommend them enough.

An Unforgettable Experience with the Expert Team
Our 9-day safari was an absolute dream come true, exceeding every expectation. This was thanks to the exceptional team of Jerome, our trip advisor, and Jacob, our incredible guide. Our Guide, Jacob: A Master of the Bush & Wildlife Interpreter Jacob was the heart and soul of our adventure. His profound knowledge, sharp eyes, and incredible intuition transformed every game drive into a thrilling series of discoveries. We didn't just see animals; we witnessed breathtaking, intimate moments of the wild: · The raw power of lions mating and baboons mating. · The serene joy of elephants taking a shower in a mud puddle. · The graceful presence of giraffes and the critical sighting of rhinos. · The heart-pounding drama of a cheetah hunt and the subsequent rare sight of cheetahs with their babies, eating a gazelle. · The elusive beauty of leopards sleeping peacefully on trees. Jacob is knowledgeable and vividly explaining the behaviors behind everything we saw. He masterfully positioned the vehicle to give us an unobstructed view for our pictures. Furthermore, he expertly managed our time, always discussing options with us and accommodating our interests to ensure we made the most of each day. Jacob is an excellent and assured driver. He safely navigated challenging terrain and sudden, extreme weather, ensuring we always felt secure. During longer transfers between parks, he kept the journey engaging with humorous stories and insightful chatter, ensuring the time was never boring. Our Trip Advisor, Jerome: The Architect of a Seamless Journey From the first inquiry, Jerome was phenomenal. Despite a significant time difference, his responses were incredibly quick, detailed, and helpful. He took our ideas and crafted a perfectly customized itinerary that matched our pace and interests. Every logistical detail was handled flawlessly, allowing us to relax and immerse ourselves in the experience from arrival. In summary, Jerome built the perfect framework for our trip, and Jacob brought it to life with unparalleled skill and passion. We cannot recommend this duo highly enough for a personalized, insightful, and magical safari.

The perfect trip.
The tour guide was really responsible, attentive from the gathering to the end of the trip, conscientious and patient, and the atmosphere was well driven, knowing the animals very well, introducing the habits of various animals, and taking us to the local market to introduce the local culture. I can also feel that he does love animals, making the whole journey easy and happy, thank you very much for your efforts. (Our guide is Nuru) You can really find him.

Amazing experience and highly recommend Meru Slopes for your safari. We did a 9-Day Private Camping Big 5 Safari. We visited Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara. Thanks to Almachius for organising our trip and answering all my questions prior to arriving, Godfrey Kitomary for being an excellent guide and enabling us to see the Big 5 (plus all the other amazing animals) and get amazing pictures, and Salim for being a great chef.
