Good value, an exceptional guide.
My daughter (19) and I (53) did a private 8-day tour with Bryson as our guide. I appreciated the way Kili Slope quoted the tour. Other companies count pick up from the airport as Day 1. Kili Slope counts Day 1 as the first day on safari. (We arranged our own transport and accommodation on the evening of our arrival.) Our guide Bryson was amazing. Patient, good-natured, an exceptional driver and extremely knowledgeable. There wasn't a single question we asked that he couldn't answer. He is a gem. We booked lodges for the tour and I was very happy with these also. I considered four of the five to be high-end. Spacious rooms, wi-fi, beautiful settings, good food and attentive service. The fifth lodge was fine. I am not complaining since I don't think I was promised luxury accommodations throughout. I am awarding four stars instead of five because of the condition of the safari vehicle. Among other issues, there were no working seatbelts and the windows were extremely difficult to open and close. I suggest asking about the condition of the safari vehicle before travelling to ensure you get one that has been maintained. We traveled in mid-May, the shoulder season between rainy and dry seasons. It was great timing because we saw a tonne of animals and did not have to compete with other tours. The accomodations were nearly private. There were very few other travelers. A word of caution - I suggest not travelling to the Western Serengeti before June 1. It had rained and the roads were in extremely poor condition and the tsetse flies were unbearable. We were, however, rewarded with a stay in a lodge called Mbalageti. The food, the design of the lodge, the views, the pool - all of it was incredible. It is a nice place to take a rest day without a game drive. Do go to the Western Serengeti but not before June 1. We were told at the outset of the tour that $20 USD tip/ day for the driver was expected. If you want to tip, bring cash for it. (I don't like to be told to tip, but in fact I was happy to tip a bit more since Bryson was so exceptional.)

9 day with Kili Slope.
Our 9-day safari experience with Kili Slope Tours was truly incredible from beginning to end. We visited Serengeti, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro, and Tarangire, and each destination had different and unforgettable wildlife encounters. Kili maintenance team attentive and punctual. Our guide Brayson was very knowledgeable, never rushed us and always made sure we were comfortable during the long game drives. The Serengeti was absolutely magical, especially watching giraffes walking across the plains during sunset while hyenas called in the distance. The lodges and camps were clean, welcoming, and perfectly located near the parks. This safari felt authentic, well organized, and deeply memorable every moment. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a true African safari experience.

Excellent Experience, Highly recommend Kili Slope Tours.
We finished our 9 day safari in Tanzania and we visited Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire honestly, Kili Slope Tours and Safaris was our best choice and organized perfectly. Our guide Suma was very passionate about wildlife behaviors. We were very satisfied with him. The Serengeti's openness and endless plains many kinds of animals were just amazing. Ngorongoro Crater felt we were in another kingdom. Finally Tarangire National Park baobab trees and elephants so many elephants, moving calmly but with presence. We enjoyed the natural beauty of Tanzania. Memorable journey.

Great time & great experience with kili's great hospitality
The feeling of finishing our 9-day migration safari adventure in the first week of November was like witnessing the beauty of nature. Traveling with my three cousins was a special safari. Our guide Bryson's expertise completely shaped the experience. He didn't just point out animals,he explained behaviors, migration timing, and predator strategies with a calm confidence that made every sighting more meaningful. Traveling as a small group made everything feel more personal and thank you Bryson and the whole Kili Slope Tours team. Kili Slope one of them to book, recommend.

Our 9 day budget safari safari with well trip organizer Kili
Me and my best friend with Kili Slope Tours and joining their a luxury safari group for 9 days in Tanzania turned out to be a unique experience. with my best friend honestly the journey was so special and it was made by our Guide Piter. Serengeti was the true home of our hearts. Its vast plains carry a calming energy, and it was humbling to see predators and prey coexist in such a raw environment. The lodges and camps were beautifully designed, blending seamlessly with their surroundings. They completed the entire safari within our budget, within the amount of money we wanted to spend. We were really happy to complete the safari with them. When we said goodbye, we realized that we had experienced something truly rare.

9 Days Safari To See Great Migration Crossing: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Arusha.
How much does 9 Days Safari To See Great Migration Crossing cost?
+
Prices start at $4846 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Arusha usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 9 Days Safari To See Great Migration Crossing take?
+
Plan for about 216 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Arusha is not rushed.
Is 9 Days Safari To See Great Migration Crossing worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 20 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Arusha, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 9 Days Safari To See Great Migration Crossing?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 9 Days Safari To See Great Migration Crossing suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 216-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 9 Days Safari To See Great Migration Crossing?
+
Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Arusha can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Arusha and add a light layer if any part of the 216-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 9 Days Safari To See Great Migration Crossing start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Arusha within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Arusha?
+
On Outty we rank every Arusha experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Materuni Waterfalls, coffee tour & Kikuletwa Hot Springs, 4 Days Group Camping Safari, 3 Days Serengeti & Ngorongoro Group Camping Safari. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Arusha?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Arusha?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
