Serengeti Safari
Jerome Hotti, is very helpful answering all our questions before we came, and met us on the first day of our safari. He organised our pick up from airport, and with hotel to hold onto our cases until we got back for our onward journey. We meet our guide/driver Bryson Mchau who was a very good driver completely safe, who gave us information about the areas and the animals, knew exactly where to go and got information on the radio what was going on. Bryson could spot animals way off, whilst driving. The safari jeep was equipped with wifi enabling us to keep in touch also WhatsApping live video to our family. It was also equipped with a fridge which was kept stocked with drinks. We went to the Tarangire national Park first, great place saw loads of animals, then onto Serengeti national Park and Northern Seregeti, where we saw the wilderbeast crossing the Mara mara River great sight loads of animals crossing. Also did balloon flight which Jerone organised too. It was perfect. We also visited the Ngorongoro Crater, a large area with Rhino. At every park you have washrooms so you can stop and go to the loo, they have picnic areas to have lunch and all the lodges supply lunch. All the lodges were great but we especially enjoyed the tented lodge, with wilderbeast and zebra wondering all around our tent and we could hear the lions at night. Food really good here, thanks to Sarah the chef. Throughout our visit we saw Lions, male, female and cubs. Cheetahs, Leopards, Rhinos, Elephants, Water buffalos, Giraffes, Hippopotami, Warthogs, Crocodiles, Zebras, Wilderbeast, Hyenas as well as many birds and other smaller animals. The roads in the parks are bumpy but you don't mind as seeing the animals, but the roads to get to the parks are very dusty and bumpy.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your detailed and wonderful review. We’re delighted to hear that Jerome’s support, Bryson’s guiding, and the overall organization made your safari so enjoyable. It’s fantastic that you experienced the Mara River crossing, the balloon safari, and such incredible wildlife sightings. We’re also glad you enjoyed the lodges, meals, and special moments in the Serengeti. Your feedback means a lot to us, and we truly appreciate your trust. We hope to welcome you again for another unforgettable Tanzania adventure. Best regards, Meru Slopes Tours & Safaris Team

An absolutely extraordinary safari!
From the very beginning, we were impressed by Kelvin Bonith’s attentiveness and availability. He took the time to understand all our wishes and carefully planned an 8-day safari perfectly tailored to our expectations. We also had the pleasure of meeting him at the beginning of our trip. Everything was perfectly organized. The hotels and camps were of excellent quality, and the lunchtime picnics were much more than simple packed lunches — they were delicious, full meals carefully prepared by the hotels. A real treat! But the highlight of our safari was undoubtedly our guide, Samwel Bahane. We were incredibly lucky to have him with us! Professional, kind, attentive and always in a good mood, Samwel is above all an exceptional tracker. His experience and knowledge of the terrain allowed us to experience moments we will never forget. We saw thousands of wildebeest in the northern Serengeti and had the incredible opportunity to witness the spectacular Mara River crossing. Thanks to Samwel, we were also able to get just a few meters away from a lion family made up of 14 individuals, as well as cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, baboons and many other animals. Another great advantage is that Samwel speaks both French and English fluently, which made communication and his explanations even more enjoyable. Tanzania is a truly amazing country, but we quickly realized how important the choice of agency, the preparation of the trip and, above all, the quality of the guide are to making a safari truly exceptional. A huge thank you to Kelvin for organizing this wonderful trip, and to Samwel for his professionalism, kindness and incredible tracking skills. We are leaving with unforgettable images in our minds and memories that will last a lifetime. We highly recommend Kelvin and Samwel to anyone wishing to discover Tanzania! ❤️🇹🇿
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your detailed and heartfelt review. We’re truly delighted that Kelvin’s planning and Samwel’s exceptional guiding made your safari so memorable. It’s wonderful to hear you experienced the Mara River crossing and such incredible wildlife moments. We deeply appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you back to Tanzania again. Fantastic Safari Trip
I booked this Meru Slopes safari on the advice of a retired friend who is basically a professional traveler now. She undertook the trip last year and said that it was the best she has had. I took my 13 year old son as a father son experience. Our guide was Rashid and I can honestly state that I felt that he went above and beyond to make this as good and memorable experience for us as possible. I think he has a sixth sense of what the animals were thinking. He has 15 years' experience and it showed. Every day was special. My son loved it as well. The accommodation was terrific. We saw 2 crossings within an hour of each other one morning and saw each of the big 5. I originally booked with Qatar Airlines but that flight was cancelled without explanation so I rebooked with KLM to avoid the mid-east conflict. I can enthusiastically endorse Meru Slopes for your next safari.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your kind words and for choosing Meru Slopes Tours & Safaris. We’re glad you and your son had such a memorable experience, and that Rashid made it truly special. We appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you again. Warm regards, Meru Slopes Tours & Safaris

A OnceinaLifetime Tanzania Safari Experience with Almachius, Max, and Victor
We wholeheartedly recommend Meru Slopes Tours & Safaris to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania. Special thanks to Almachius, Max, and Victor for creating memories that will last a lifetime. Asante sana! We hope to return to Tanzania one day!! My sister and I recently completed an unforgettable 8-day private wildebeest migration safari in Tanzania with Meru Slopes Tours & Safaris. Our itinerary included Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti National Park, and a city tour of Arusha. Everything was professional, well organized, and thoughtfully arranged. Our travel consultant, Almachius, was patient, responsive, and knowledgeable. He carefully listened to our preferences and customized the itinerary, accommodations, and pace of the trip to meet our needs. Our guide and driver, Max, made the safari truly exceptional. He was friendly, punctual, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable about Tanzania’s wildlife, ecosystems, and culture. During our trip, we saw big fives, ugly fives, elephants, lions, cheetahs, leopards, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, hyenas, crocodiles, and many other animals and birds. Max always positioned the vehicle carefully so we could enjoy excellent views while respecting the wildlife and other visitors. He also shared fascinating information about animal behavior and patiently answered all our questions. We felt safe and comfortable throughout the journey. Even on rough park roads and long drives, Max drove carefully and kept a positive attitude. By the end of the safari, he felt more like a friend than simply our guide. We also enjoyed a wonderful city tour of Arusha with Victor. He was kind, welcoming, and took us to try delicious authentic Tanzanian food at local restaurants. This gave us an opportunity to experience the city and culture beyond the usual tourist attractions.
