About this experience
This tour masterfully balances raw, high-stakes drama with refined, quiet luxury. It is a journey designed to put you at the center of the African narrative, focusing on intimate encounters with the Big Five—the Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Elephant, and the rare Black Rhino—across Tanzania’s most iconic landscapes. What sets this experience apart is the "Luxury Nature" philosophy. Instead of standard excursions, you enjoy sophisticated picnic lunches overlooking the Tarangire River while elephant herds bathe below, and exclusive dining moments beside the Ngorongoro Hippo Pools. The itinerary carefully contrasts the adrenaline of tracking Serengeti Cheetahs with the serenity of hand-picked sanctuaries like Nakupenda and Embalakai. From the misty heights of the Materuni Waterfalls on the slopes of Kilimanjaro to the playful monkeys guarding our scenic lunch spots. It is the rawest version of the wild, delivered with a sophisticated, world-class touch.

The best trip of my life
Manfred! I know it was because of luck that we saw so many animals and even a live hunt! But I think half of that luck was having you as our guide. Thank you for the unforgettable experience. And thank you, Polecat, for organizing the most fantastic lodges for us!
Response from the operator: It was an absolute privilege to host you on this journey. While the wild often keeps its secrets, Manfred has a rare gift for listening to the rhythm of the savannah. We are thrilled that his expertise led you to that breathtaking live hunt—a raw, powerful moment that few are fortunate enough to witness. At Polecat, we believe that a safari should be a harmony of adventure and elegance. It brings us great joy to know that our selection of lodges provided the perfect sanctuary for your spirit after long days under the Tanzanian sun. Thank you for trusting us with your adventure. Until the wilderness calls you back, we wish you many more unforgettable horizons

Unforgettable Experience - Super Guide - Everything perfect
We booked a 7-day trip with Polecat Safaris, with 5 of those days being actual safari days. The first and last days were dedicated to arrival, departure, and related logistics. Ibrahim from Polecat Safaris provided us with an offer in no time and was always quick to respond to any questions we had. Together, we were able to tailor the trip exactly to our preferences. On the day we arrived in Arusha, Ibrahim and Alex were punctual, met us at the airport, gave us a brief tour of Arusha, and brought us to our hotel. The real journey began the following day. Our safari guide, Benedict, accompanied us throughout the trip. He was always attentive to our needs and made every effort to fulfil our wishes. Benedict is incredibly friendly and has a great sense of humour. We got along wonderfully with him from day one. His extensive knowledge of wildlife and plants made the experience engaging and enriching—there was never a dull moment. We visited the following national parks: Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Lake Manyara. Thanks to Benedict, we were able to see everything we had hoped for, including rare sightings of leopards, cheetahs, and rhinos. The accommodations and meals were also of good quality. At Moyo Camp in the Serengeti, we experienced the thrill of lions and hyenas roaming in or near the camp at night (it’s strictly prohibited to go out alone after dark). Other animals were also around, and we could spot many of them during the day. Overall, it was an incredible experience with Polecat Safaris, especially thanks to Benedict. A big thank you for making this trip unforgettable!
Response from the operator: Asante sana for your wonderful review! We're thrilled to hear you had such an incredible safari experience with us. It's fantastic that Ibrahim was able to efficiently assist you with your booking and tailor the trip to your preferences. We strive to provide personalized service and ensure our guests have a seamless experience from start to finish. We're also delighted that you enjoyed Benedict's guidance and expertise. He is a truly valuable member of our team, and we'll be sure to pass along your compliments. It sounds like you had some amazing wildlife encounters, including those elusive leopards, cheetahs, and rhinos! And we're glad you enjoyed the accommodations, especially the unique experience at Moyo Camp in the Serengeti. It's always exciting to be surrounded by the sounds of the African bush at night! Thank you for choosing African Polecats for your safari adventure. We're honored to have played a part in creating such unforgettable memories for you.

7 Days Private luxury Safari to Serengeti & Ngorongoro: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Arusha.
How much does 7 Days Private luxury Safari to Serengeti & Ngorongoro cost?
+
Prices start at $2000 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Arusha usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 7 Days Private luxury Safari to Serengeti & Ngorongoro take?
+
Plan for about 168 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Arusha is not rushed.
Is 7 Days Private luxury Safari to Serengeti & Ngorongoro worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Arusha, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 7 Days Private luxury Safari to Serengeti & Ngorongoro?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 7 Days Private luxury Safari to Serengeti & Ngorongoro suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 168-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 7 Days Private luxury Safari to Serengeti & Ngorongoro?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Arusha can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Arusha and add a light layer if any part of the 168-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 7 Days Private luxury Safari to Serengeti & Ngorongoro start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Arusha within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Arusha?
+
On Outty we rank every Arusha experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Materuni Waterfalls, coffee tour & Kikuletwa Hot Springs, 4 Days Group Camping Safari, 3 Days Serengeti & Ngorongoro Group Camping Safari. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Arusha?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Arusha?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
