Probably one of the best operators!!
We had an incredible experience on the Machame route and successfully made it to the summit! It wouldn’t have been the same without the amazing team. The entire crew was exceptionally organized, professional, and full of energy. Everyone had a clear role and responsibility—guiding, cooking, washing dishes, choosing campsite spots, and our dear Muddy, who worked as the key liaison between the team and us, supporting us with daily tasks. Their seamless collaboration behind the scenes ensured we were well-rested, well-fed, and able to focus completely on the climb. The team’s care, professionalism, and constant smiles kept us motivated and uplifted throughout the journey. We were truly touched by how much they love what they do. The food from Steve was outstanding. He went above and beyond, surprising us with different dishes every single day. Soup, main courses, and fresh fruit were always a guarantee. Muddy’s service was exceptional—we loved having hot water every morning and evening for washing, such a luxury on a trek like this! Our guide, Kennedy, was calm, professional, and incredibly thoughtful. He closely monitored our health every day, making sure our journey was both enjoyable and safe. We’re so thrilled we chose Gifted! We already miss the team and hope more hikers get to experience the same unforgettable journey we had with them!
Response from the operator: Dear Juan Wow — thank you so much for this incredible review! We’re truly honored to have been part of your successful Kilimanjaro summit via the Machame route. Congratulations on reaching the Roof of Africa! Your kind words mean the world to us. We’re so glad that the care, dedication, and teamwork of our crew made your experience smooth, comfortable, and uplifting from beginning to end. Kennedy, Muddy, Steve, and the entire mountain team will be thrilled to hear how much you appreciated their efforts — they genuinely love what they do, and it shows in every detail. We’re especially happy to know that the little things, like hot water for washing and the delicious meals, helped you feel supported on such a demanding trek. Our goal is always to create a safe, memorable, and joyful journey — and it sounds like we achieved just that with you. We already miss you too and hope to welcome you back for another adventure in Tanzania soon! Warmest regards, Gift Charles & the Gifted African Adventures Team Luxury Authentic Tanzania

Why this scores 59
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
7 Days Private Machame Route Mountain Kilimanjaro Climbing: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Arusha.
How much does 7 Days Private Machame Route Mountain Kilimanjaro Climbing cost?
+
Prices start at $2533 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Arusha usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 7 Days Private Machame Route Mountain Kilimanjaro Climbing take?
+
Plan for about 168 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Arusha is not rushed.
Is 7 Days Private Machame Route Mountain Kilimanjaro Climbing worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 1 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Arusha, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 7 Days Private Machame Route Mountain Kilimanjaro Climbing?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 7 Days Private Machame Route Mountain Kilimanjaro Climbing suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 12. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 168-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book 7 Days Private Machame Route Mountain Kilimanjaro Climbing?
+
Around 0 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Arusha can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Arusha and add a light layer if any part of the 168-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 7 Days Private Machame Route Mountain Kilimanjaro Climbing start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Arusha within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Arusha?
+
On Outty we rank every Arusha experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Materuni Waterfalls, coffee tour & Kikuletwa Hot Springs, 4 Days Group Camping Safari, 3 Days Serengeti & Ngorongoro Group Camping Safari. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Arusha?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Arusha?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
