Great organization, friendly communication and briefings before each day create trust and security.

This were the best days in my life! Nature pure with a lot of fun! I felt allways secure and perfectly informed by the guide and the company. They do a great job with a big heart for people and nature! I just can recommand! Logan, our guide, knew the national parks inside and out and always led us to the best spots. He was able to give us a genuine and exciting insight into the country's culture, and we had some great conversations. Mirjam, our chef, conjured up delicious local food every day. Goodson was our driver on both our arrival and departure days. He was always punctual, drove safely, and welcomed us to the country with his cheerful manner from the very first moment.

Response from the operator: Dear Ester, Thank you for sharing such a thoughtful and detailed review of your 7-day private camping safari with us. It’s genuinely rewarding to hear that you felt safe, well-informed, and able to fully enjoy the experience. Creating that sense of trust and comfort is something we take seriously, so your words mean a great deal. I’m especially pleased to hear your kind feedback about our team. Logan is deeply passionate about what he does, and it shows in how he connects guests with both wildlife and culture. Mirjam our Top Female Chef ,will be happy to know her meals added to your experience, and Goodson’s reliability and warm welcome are exactly what we aim to provide from the very beginning. Your appreciation for both nature and the people behind the journey reflects the kind of experience we strive to offer, authentic, respectful, and memorable. Thank you again for choosing Kiliclimb Africa Safaris. You are always welcome back for another adventure. Warm regards, Moses Yohanes Kiliclimb Africa Safaris

Fantastic honeymoon in Africa!

We had a fantastic 7 day safari with Kiliclimb for our honeymoon! We were greeted at the airport by our tour coordinator, Janeth, who sang us a welcome song. At our hotel the day before our safari we met our guide Ombeni and went through our itinerary. The next day our guide Ombeni met us at the hotel with a surprise! The owners of Kiliclimb greeted us with flowers, and wrapped us in Maasai outfit to send us on our way to Central Serengeti. On our first day there we saw a lot of animals but were able to spot Lions, a Cheetah (our guide spotted it in the middle of the plain very far away) and Leopards all with their babies. The next day we took a game drive in the central area and saw more animals, some new to us! From there we drove to the north to see the great migration and river crossing of wildebeests and zebras. Our first day at the river watching and waiting we finally saw 2 huge crossings of hundreds of animals and even saw one get eaten by a crocodile. It was worth the wait! The next day we went on an early morning hot air balloon ride which was amazing! We had a champagne brunch in the bush and were able to chat and relax with other guests. After two days in the north, we headed down to Ngorongoro Crater where we did a game drive. We saw a big lion pride including one eating a wildebeest, we saw more zebras, a ton of water buffalo, flamingos and hippos and then we were able to spot 2 rhinos in the forested area. For our last day we went to Lake Manyara which is a beautiful area and saw lots of monkeys, elephants, birds and even a giraffe. All of the lodges and camps we stayed at were top notch with fantastic staff, good food and rooms. Our hot lunches were delicious and yummy every day. The Kiliclimb team made this honeymoon unforgettable and incredibly special. They were responsive, communicative and welcoming.

Response from the operator: Dear Ashley, Thank you so much for sharing such a beautiful and detailed review of your honeymoon safari experience with us. It was truly an honor to be part of such a special and meaningful journey in your lives. From the moment you arrived, it was our goal to make you feel welcomed, celebrated, and cared for—and we’re so glad to hear that every part of your safari reflected that. Janeth’s welcome song, your surprise Maasai send-off, and the unforgettable wildlife encounters were all part of our effort to create lasting memories that you'll carry with you forever. Ombeni will be thrilled to know how much you appreciated his keen eye and guiding skills spotting a cheetah at a distance is no small feat! Witnessing the Great Migration and river crossings is one of nature’s most incredible spectacles, and we’re glad you were there to experience it firsthand (even the dramatic moments with the crocodile). We're also happy to hear the hot air balloon ride and bush brunch added that extra touch of magic to your trip , what a perfect way to celebrate love and adventure. Thank you for highlighting the quality of the accommodations, meals, and the service you received throughout. Our entire Kiliclimb team puts heart into everything we do, and your words mean the world to us. On behalf of myself, Janeth, Ombeni, and the entire Kiliclimb Africa Safaris family thank you for choosing us to celebrate your honeymoon. We wish you a lifetime of happiness and adventures together, and we hope to welcome you back to Tanzania one day. With warmest regards, Moses Yohanes Kiliclimb Africa Safaris

How long does 7 day Private Camping Safari In Tanzania take?

+

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Arusha, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

+

Is 7 day Private Camping Safari In Tanzania suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 16. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 168-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book 7 day Private Camping Safari In Tanzania?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Arusha can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Arusha and add a light layer if any part of the 168-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

+

What are the best things to do in Arusha?

+

On Outty we rank every Arusha experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Materuni Waterfalls, coffee tour & Kikuletwa Hot Springs, 4 Days Group Camping Safari, 3 Days Serengeti & Ngorongoro Group Camping Safari. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Arusha?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Arusha?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
