Excellent experience
We had a wonderful time, the hotel before and after the safari is very relaxing with kind staff. The lodging on the safari really surprised us. It was a lot nicer than we expected based off the pictures and the food there was some of the best we have had in Tanzania. Our guide Ben was very knowledgeable about wildlife, nature an Tanzanian culture and we learned a lot from him.

An Unforgettable Safari Experience
Fantastic 6 days experience, Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongora and the Masai. Peter our tour guide was excellent, knowledgable, friendly, heaps of experience, knew exactly where to find amazing game viewing and so lovely and chatty. He is also a very safe driver and I felt completely safe with him on some of those challenging roads. Thank you Peter. Brilliant accommodation, well planned days and all our needs met.

Mixed Experience
I’ve considered not writing this review; however, since my experience with Joagro Safari was such a mixed bag, I’d rather share, so that others may not repeat my mistakes. The safari itself was great, largely thanks to Anuar, our driver. Anuar, is a genuinely good person, who would do anything to ensure comfort of his guests. Though he is still learning his craft and wildlife knowledge is still developing (as example, he told me that elephant pregnancy only lasts 7 months, after which I mostly googled what I wanted to know on my own), his genuine kindness and helpfulness outweighed lack of wildlife facts. Dickson, our chef, deserves special mention. He was wonderful! He created plentiful meals every day, even made bread from scratch using bonfire coals! Unfortunately, the administrative side of the trip was severely disappointing. I booked the six-day package, expecting a nearly week-long adventure. However, the itinerary was structured in the way that you really only get a 4 day of actual safari. The "arrival day" offered a “city tour”, and the last day being nothing more than a standard hotel check-out. Three specific administrative issues significantly impacted my overall experience: 1. **Incorrect Tour Dates:** My tour inexplicably started a day late and ended a day early. Instead of the planned April 14th-19th, it ran from April 15th-18th (the actual safari drive ended on 4/17). Despite multiple attempts to clarify this with Jonas, the owner, he initially dismissed my concerns, causing unnecessary stress by informing me that everything is as it should be and that I was simply confused. After MUCH gaslighting, he finally agreed to send one of his guides to take me on a “city tour” at the end of my trip, which was originally supposed to take place on Day 1. 2. **Unnecessary Hotel Costs:** This date discrepancy resulted in an unexpected and unnecessary extra night's hotel stay in Arusha when I wasn’t even going to be in town. I incurred this extra cost due to Joagro Safari's scheduling error. Jonah admitted that he didn’t check the correct dates. 3. **Missing Airport Transfer:** The package included airport pickup and land transportation to my Arusha hotel. Instead, I was instructed to take a taxi, incurring a $50 expense. Reimbursement was only granted after I raised the issue at the end of the trip and he finally agreed that I should get reimbursed. If I had not insisted on this, I doubt it would have happened. The overall impression I received was that Joagro Safari prioritized maximizing revenue rather than ensuring customer satisfaction. My recommendation is this: *if* you choose Joagro Safari, do the four-day package instead of the six-day. Also, carefully review any quote you receive and do not hesitate to question any discrepancies before booking to get everything in writing first. Be prepared to be vigilant and advocate for yourself to ensure you receive the services you've paid for because for many of us a trip like this is a once in a lifetime experience. I know we all want it be a positive and unforgettable one. Or, better yet, go with a different tour group altogether!
Response from the operator: Dear Natalie, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We genuinely appreciate your honest review, and we are pleased that you began by acknowledging that there were misunderstandings along the way. We value every guest's experience and would like to provide some clarification for future travelers. First, we are happy that you enjoyed your safari with Anuar and Dickson. We will certainly pass along your kind words to them. Anuar is indeed a caring and dedicated guide, and while he continues to expand his wildlife knowledge, we are proud of his commitment to providing excellent service. Dickson will also be glad to hear that you enjoyed his meals. Regarding the itinerary, we are sorry that it did not meet your expectations. However, we would like to clarify that the safari was operated exactly as the itinerary you selected. Before confirming your booking, we provided two different 6-day options: • A 6-day itinerary that included your arrival day, four safari days, and your departure day. • A longer option with six full safari days. You chose the first option. The itinerary clearly stated: • Day 1 – Arrival in Arusha • Day 2 – Tarangire National Park • Day 3 – Serengeti National Park • Day 4 – Serengeti National Park • Day 5 – Ngorongoro Crater • Day 6 – Departure Because of this, the safari was conducted exactly according to the confirmed itinerary. We understand that your expectation was different, but the services delivered matched the quotation you accepted. Regarding the city tour, we all agreed before your arrival that, due to your flight arrival time, it would be better to move it from your arrival day to your departure day. We were happy to arrange this at no additional cost so you could still enjoy the experience. Concerning the hotel booking, we are sorry you felt inconvenienced. However, the dates in your quotation and reservation were correct. The itinerary was based on your arrival on April 14 and departure on April 19, exactly as confirmed before your trip. For the airport transfer, we would also like to clarify that our driver successfully picked you up at the airport as arranged. Unfortunately, there was a misunderstanding when you paid the transfer driver directly, even though the transfer had already been prepaid by us. Once this came to our attention, we immediately resolved the matter. At your own request, instead of reimbursing you directly, we gave the amount to Anuar as a tip as you instructed us, which he gratefully received. We are truly sorry that these misunderstandings affected your overall impression of your holiday. At Joagro Safaris, our goal has always been to create memorable experiences, not simply to maximize revenue. We have hosted many travelers who have left with wonderful memories, and we continuously strive to improve both our communication and our service. We sincerely thank you for traveling with us and wish you all the best in your future adventures.

Great company
We had an 8-day trip, including a safari in the Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Tarangire. The 4 safari days were absolutely amazing. The drivers were friendly, professional, and always made sure we were comfortable and enjoying the experience. They provided detailed explanations about the wildlife and ecosystems in each park, which made the safari even more interesting and educational. They also worked hard to ensure we were happy and comfortable throughout the trip. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania.

Lifetime experience - Thank you Peter and Joagro
A massive shoutout to Peter, our safari guide and driver. Honestly, he made the whole experience unforgettable. Peter is without a doubt one of the best safari guides out there. His knowledge, passion, safe driving, and attention to detail are truly impressive. He knows every corner of the parks, the history of each place, the local people, and of course the animals and their behavior. From the smallest ant to the largest wildebeest, he explains everything with so much passion and patience. He also taught us a lot of Swahili along the way, sharing words, expressions, and stories about the local culture, which made the experience feel even more authentic. Thanks to Peter, we saw the Big Five on our very first day and many more times in Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Very often, we were the first jeep to spot the animals before others arrived. Some of our most magical moments were being alone beside a pride of lions, just watching them peacefully in silence. Beyond all his knowledge, Peter made us feel safe at all times. His driving was careful, smooth, and professional, even on long roads and challenging safari tracks. We could simply relax and enjoy every moment knowing we were in very good hands. A big thank you as well to Jonas, the owner of Joagro Safaris, who was personally involved from start to finish. He welcomed us on arrival and departure, checked that everything was going smoothly, and made sure our plan was well organized. They also added beautiful honeymoon touches that we did not expect, from the car decoration to the hotel room setups, songs, and special care throughout the trip. Joagro Safaris gave us an amazing and unforgettable experience. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a real, professional, and memorable safari in Tanzania.

6-Day Honeymoon Safari Tour Package in Tanzania: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Arusha.
How much does 6-Day Honeymoon Safari Tour Package in Tanzania cost?
+
Prices start at $1995 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Arusha usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 6-Day Honeymoon Safari Tour Package in Tanzania take?
+
Plan for about 144 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Arusha is not rushed.
Is 6-Day Honeymoon Safari Tour Package in Tanzania worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 20 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Arusha, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 6-Day Honeymoon Safari Tour Package in Tanzania?
+

+
The operator sets a minimum age of 5. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 144-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book 6-Day Honeymoon Safari Tour Package in Tanzania?
+
Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Arusha can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Arusha and add a light layer if any part of the 144-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 6-Day Honeymoon Safari Tour Package in Tanzania start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Arusha within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Arusha?
+
On Outty we rank every Arusha experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Arusha Guided City Tour &Hotel Pickup (History, Culture &Market, Materuni Waterfalls, coffee tour & Kikuletwa Hot Springs, 5 Days Camping Tarangire, Serengeti & Ngorongoro crater & Visiting Maasai. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Arusha?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Arusha?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
