Fantastic & well organized safari.
My wife and I had an amazing time exploring Tanzania and experiencing the wildlife up close. Neither of us had ever experienced wildlife in their natural habitat before. The scenery was beautiful, the journey was exciting, and there were many beautiful moments along the way. It was a perfect adventure for the two of us, and we would happily do it again with Kibo Mawenzi Safaris.

Memorable, thrilling, and well planned safari.
My wife and I recently finished our fantastic 5-day private camping safari that peacefully organized by Kibo Mawenzi. Exploring Tanzania's most popular 3 parks the Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater was a great wildlife observation experience. Our guide was professional, friendly and always focused on giving us the best possible safari experience. We returned home with an unforgettable adventure, wonderful memories and a deep appreciation for the natural beauty of Tanzania. We would happily recommend this safari to anyone.

Wonderful Experience.
5 day Tanzanian journey was a great time with my partner, thanks kibo Mawenzi for specially organized everything. Tarangire our 1st stop we witnessed herds of elephants and playful monkeys, while the Serengeti was like stepping into a living documentary, with lions lazing lazily in the golden grass and zebras scurrying across the vast plains. Mayunga was very friendly and passionate. He was great for us. The Ngorongoro Crater offered us breathtaking views and the opportunity to encounter species we had only seen in pictures. Camping under the stars added an intimate feel; falling asleep to the sound of distant roars and waking up to the chirping of birds was a magical experience. Our guide planned each day perfectly, balancing moments of relaxation and enjoying the scenery with exciting game drives. This privacy and special care made it feel like a private expedition, creating memories we will cherish forever.

Elia was great, really authentic safari experience
Our 5 days, 4 nights camping safari was mind blowing experience. We explored Tarengire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater. Our guide Elia was just cool, and his experience really showed he anticipated animal movement and shared fascinating details that made sightings more meaningful. The safari vehicle was comfortable, and our driver never felt tired, and he skillfully gave us a safe game drive. We deeply appreciate and were very satisfied with Kibo Mawenzi Safaris for making our 5 day authentic.

Our 5 day camping safari was luxurious & every moment was special.
Our 5-day expedition to Ndutu during the 1st week of December 2025. This Tanzanian journey with Kibo Mawenzi Safaris felt like stepping directly into nature's greatest arena. Each morning began with a crisp breeze and the sound of distant hooves as the vast herds moved. The sheer number of animals was astonishing – thousands of animals moving together in perfect harmony. We followed the herds of predators, especially cheetahs and lions, who were displaying behaviors we had only ever seen in documentaries. Our guide Evans made the whole experience even more meaningful with his patience, sense of humor and deep understanding of the ecosystem. Each game drive was different; some moments were slow and peaceful, others were wild and action-packed. The evenings were equally magical, with star-filled open skies and a cozy atmosphere at the camp. The staff treated us warmly and made sure we were always comfortable. This trip gave us an intimate, raw and beautifully authentic connection with the wildlife. We left grateful, inspired, and eager to return one day.

5 Days Private Camping Safari Adventure in Tanzania: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Arusha.
How much does 5 Days Private Camping Safari Adventure in Tanzania cost?

How long does 5 Days Private Camping Safari Adventure in Tanzania take?
+
Plan for about 120 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Arusha is not rushed.
Is 5 Days Private Camping Safari Adventure in Tanzania worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 15 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Arusha, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

How far in advance should I book 5 Days Private Camping Safari Adventure in Tanzania?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Arusha can sell out a month out. Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Arusha and add a light layer if any part of the 120-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 5 Days Private Camping Safari Adventure in Tanzania start and how do I get there?
+

+
On Outty we rank every Arusha experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Arusha Guided City Tour &Hotel Pickup (History, Culture &Market, Materuni Waterfalls, coffee tour & Kikuletwa Hot Springs, 5 Days Camping Tarangire, Serengeti & Ngorongoro crater & Visiting Maasai. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Arusha?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Arusha?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
