our 4 adventure time beautiful Tanzania

My wife and I had a great time on our 4-day safari. The experience felt very relaxed despite all the exciting wildlife we encountered. We really enjoyed stopping to watch the animals while on safari. Our guide knew the area well and helped us understand what we were seeing. The scenery was amazing, and the whole trip was one of the best experiences of our vacation. The whole safari was well organized Kibo Mawenzi. A memorable adventure that we were very happy to experience together.

4 days was completely enjoyable, immersive, and endlessly memorable.

We booked Kibo Mawenzi Safaris for this four-day private safari and we were expecting a nice trip and honestly got something far more profound. Each park had its own unique vibes. The journey to Tarangire began with a calm morning and elephants roaming very close to our vehicle. From there we entered the Serengeti, where its vastness truly overwhelmed us; cheetahs resting in the tall grass and wildebeest stretching to the horizon. The most impressive for most of us was the Ngorongoro Crater, a natural amphitheater filled with rhinos, hyenas and lots of animals. Our guide (Elia & Peter) knowledge was extraordinary. He was spotting animals we would never have seen and telling stories that brought the ecosystem to life. The campfire food, starry skies, and warm hospitality made it a fantastic adventure. Unforgettable experience.

We highly recommend Kibo Mawenzi Safaris.

This 4-day private camping safari gave my girlfriend and me the authentic African adventure that was properly organized by Kibo from start to finish. From the moment we entered Tarangire National Park to our final safari drive in Ngorongoro, each day was filled with unforgettable moments. We saw elephants, lions, buffalo, hippos, zebras, antelopes and a variety of colorful birds in their natural habitat. The Serengeti lives up to its reputation with its breathtaking scenery and incredible wildlife at every turn. Our guide's experience made the whole thing easy, as he seemed to know where the animals would be and was full of interesting facts throughout the journey. The campsites were quiet and well-managed, creating a perfect environment to relax after an exciting safari trip. Overall, our 4 day was wonderful memories, and a much deeper appreciation for Tanzania's incredible wildlife and landscapes.

    The perfect safari

Have just come back from an amazing 4 day safari in Tanzania. From the booking to the trip itself, Kibo Mawenzi were excellent. Brian sorted the booking and everything was smooth. All the hotels and camping that he chose were of an excellent standard. Our Tour Guide was called Issah and he was fantastic. Very easy company to spend with for 4 days and took us to all the best places so we could see all the animals we wanted to see - and we saw them all! He really looked after us. We then did a 1 day tour which was a hike on Mount Kilimanjaro to the Materuni Waterfalls and then on a coffee tour - Laurent who took us on the hike and did the coffee tour was just brilliant - he is really made for the role, charming and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend booking with Kibo Mawenzi - they will look after you and ensure you have a fun-packed week, thank you guys from the three of us!

4 Days Private Camping Safari to Serengeti Ngorongoro & Tarangire: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Arusha.

How much does 4 Days Private Camping Safari to Serengeti Ngorongoro & Tarangire cost?

    +

Prices start at $1829 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Arusha usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 4 Days Private Camping Safari to Serengeti Ngorongoro & Tarangire take?

    +

Plan for about 96 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Arusha is not rushed.

Is 4 Days Private Camping Safari to Serengeti Ngorongoro & Tarangire worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Arusha, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 4 Days Private Camping Safari to Serengeti Ngorongoro & Tarangire?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 4 Days Private Camping Safari to Serengeti Ngorongoro & Tarangire suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 96-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 4 Days Private Camping Safari to Serengeti Ngorongoro & Tarangire?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Arusha can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Arusha and add a light layer if any part of the 96-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 4 Days Private Camping Safari to Serengeti Ngorongoro & Tarangire start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Arusha within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Arusha?

    +

On Outty we rank every Arusha experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Materuni Waterfalls, coffee tour & Kikuletwa Hot Springs, 4 Days Group Camping Safari, 3 Days Serengeti & Ngorongoro Group Camping Safari. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Arusha?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Arusha?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
