⭐ Walking with Giraffes, Canoeing with Hippos & Views of Kilimanjaro!
My daughter and I had a couple of free days in Tanzania before our safari, and we're so glad we booked the Walking Safari, Canoe & Game Drive in Arusha National Park with Africa Pathways. The walking safari was such a unique experience. Seeing giraffes, zebras, and buffalo on foot with our ranger was unforgettable, and the waterfall was a beautiful surprise. The canoe safari on the Momella Lakes was just as amazing, with flamingos, hippos, and incredible views of Mount Meru. We even got lucky with a clear view of Kilimanjaro! Everything was well organized, our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and the day never felt rushed. We also visited an authentic Maasai village with Africa Pathways the next day, which was another highlight of our trip. If you have an extra day in Arusha before or after your safari, I highly recommend this tour. It's the perfect mix of wildlife, beautiful scenery, and unique experiences.

Beautiful park, few animals
Day trip to Arusha national park was top arranged and the park itself was beautiful. The tour on foot was fun, because you are usually in the car. You'll certainly get up to 30 feet from a giraffe. Was a short round, though. And in the afternoon by car through the park. Very nice park, only there are few animals.
Response from the operator: Dear Mark, Thank you very much for your kind review—we’re delighted to hear that you had a well-organized and enjoyable day in Arusha National Park. We’re glad you enjoyed the walking safari. It’s a unique experience to explore on foot and get close to wildlife, such as giraffes, in a way that is very different from traditional game drives. We also appreciate your comments about the length of the walk and the number of animals. Arusha National Park is known for its peaceful atmosphere, beautiful landscapes, and the opportunity for walking safaris. As a smaller and less crowded park, it naturally has fewer large animals compared to other parks, but this is also what makes it a more relaxed and unique experience. Thank you again for your valuable feedback, and we hope to welcome you again in Tanzania. Warm regards, Africa Pathways Team

Arusha National Park guide service.
Arusha National Park is a park small enough for a one day visit. It has a ranger guided walking safari that ends at a nice waterfall. We were up close and personal with many giraffes. African Pathways is an excellent choice for the day trip. They offer quality guides. Alfred was very helpful with all the arrangements.
Response from the operator: Dear Jon, Thank you very much for your wonderful review—we’re delighted to hear you had such a great experience in Arusha National Park. It’s fantastic to know you enjoyed the walking safari and the chance to get up close to giraffes—these moments truly make the park special. We’re also glad you liked the waterfall at the end of the walk, which adds a beautiful touch to the experience. Thank you as well for your kind words about our guides and the overall organization. We’re especially happy to hear that the arrangements were smooth and helpful from the beginning. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you again for another memorable adventure in Tanzania. Warm regards, Africa Pathways Team
