4 Days Safari Tansania
Our 4-day safari in Tanzania was an absolutely unforgettable experience and a journey we will never forget. We visited Lake Manyara, the Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire National Park, experiencing Tanzania’s incredible wildlife up close. We were very lucky to see the Big Five and many other fascinating animals. Especially seeing elephants so close was an amazing and unforgettable experience. Our guide Steven was truly amazing. He answered all our questions with great knowledge and patience, and he seemed to know everything about the animals, nature, and the surroundings. He made every day of the safari exciting and did not only show us animals but also explained why nature and each individual animal are so special. His passion and knowledge showed why he is such an excellent guide. The accommodations during the safari were also always excellent and perfectly matched this special journey. A very big thank you also goes to our personal chef Ali. He prepared incredibly delicious meals every day and paid special attention to making sure everything was gluten-free because my girlfriend has celiac disease. Thanks to him, we were able to fully enjoy the safari without having to worry about the food. We were traveling as a couple and felt very well taken care of and welcomed from the beginning until the end. The combination of Steven’s incredible knowledge, Ali’s amazing cooking, and Tanzania’s breathtaking nature made this safari truly special. Thank you so much to Steven, Ali, and the whole team for this once-in-a-lifetime experience. We will always remember this journey and all the beautiful moments we shared.

It was such a wholesome experience from start to finish. Our 3 day safari was perfectly organised and our tour guide was excellent, friendly and knowledgable. The accommodation was great, set on the edge of Ngorongoro National Park with stunning views. The safari itself was the unforgettable experience and we saw a wonderful variety of animals. A thoughtfully run safari and an experience I will never forget.

Fantastic, Fun and Full Adventure
My experience with our tour operator was wonderful. I travelled to Zanzibar and Tanzania with a friend and the whole time, even outside of our safari experience, the team were helpful, attentive, friendly and professional making the whole trip safe and enjoyable. The service they offered was well above what we paid; most definitely great value. We were picked up and supported through each stage of our adventure. We visited the Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara spotting some of the “big five” from day one! Over our three-day safari, as well as seeing the beautiful animals in their natural habit, our guide taught us all about the land and plants, mining, art and sculpture, and the diversity of the people and cultures. I will never forget the people we met, Davies, Kisali, and Sayid and how well they took care of us. From the moment I got home I have, and will continue to, recommend this wonderful tour group to colleagues, friends, and family.
Response from the operator: Dear Elizabeth, Thank you so much for sharing such a beautiful and detailed review of your experience with Wildlife Experience Tanzania. It means a great deal to us to know that our team was able to support you throughout your adventure and provide a level of service that exceeded your expectations. Your three-day safari exploring Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara sounds like it was full of incredible memories, and we are thrilled that you had the opportunity to see some of the Big Five. Beyond the wildlife, we are happy that you enjoyed learning about Tanzania’s landscapes, plants, culture, traditions, and the diversity of our people. We greatly appreciate your kind words about Davies, Kisali, and Sayid. We will proudly share your compliments with them, as they always strive to make every guest feel welcomed, cared for, and connected with Tanzania. Wonderful, breathtaking experience!
Where do I start with this experience!?… It blew my mind with the amount of things we saw and learnt. From the very start of planning this trip we did not know what to expect but all we knew was that we wanted to visit Tanzania and go on a safari. Debating on whether to do the 1x day safari trip to the other national parks or do the 3x days we opted for the 3x days visiting Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara. We saw all the big fives along the national parks. Each experience was unique. Ngorongoro crater will always have a special place in my heart! Davies has helped us plan this whole trip very well! As we were 2x female friends travelling together; we were concerned with our safety and how safe the whole trip would be. His attentiveness and assurance assured us that all is ok and the trip was planned in a such a way to best suit the experience we wanted to experience. Pairing us with our lovely guide Kisali who entertained us and taught us a lot throughout the whole trip from the wild animals to the trees and plants we saw along our journey. We also had a lovely unforgettable encounter with the Maasai tribe visiting their ‘Emanyata’. Learning from the way they live to their traditions and dancing rituals. It was truly a wonderful experience. We also got to experience and learn how Tanzanite stone is mined and graded. To top it off we stayed in a wonderful accommodation ‘Farm of Dreams Lodge’. Top luxury experience with lovely staff members who made our stay very comfortable and welcoming. Truly felt like a family. ♥️ We want to thank both Davies and Kisali for this beautiful experience. We truly miss the whole experience and hope that one day we will be back! Until then, Baadaye and Asante Sana Familia! Eman and Elizabeth

Unforgettable
What an amazing experience! Davies made all the arrangements so everything went smoothly. The transfer from the airport, great lodges. Visting the wildparcs was a dream. Also because of our guide Steven, who did everything he could, to show us everything and tell us everything about the flora and fauna we saw. A very friendly man and nice to have around for three days. We will never forget this!

How much does 3 Day Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro crater, Tarangire Safari cost?

How long does 3 Day Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro crater, Tarangire Safari take?
+
Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Arusha is not rushed.
Is 3 Day Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro crater, Tarangire Safari worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Arusha, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 3 Day Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro crater, Tarangire Safari?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 3 Day Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro crater, Tarangire Safari suitable for kids and families?

How far in advance should I book 3 Day Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro crater, Tarangire Safari?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Arusha can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Arusha and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 3 Day Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro crater, Tarangire Safari start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Arusha within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Arusha?
+
On Outty we rank every Arusha experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Materuni Waterfalls, coffee tour & Kikuletwa Hot Springs, 4 Days Group Camping Safari, 3 Days Serengeti & Ngorongoro Group Camping Safari. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Arusha?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Arusha?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
