Day trip
The tour departs from a bus station located very close to the Zurich Marriott Hotel, just a six-minute walk from the hotel. The bus was very clean and the journey was very comfortable. There was no restroom on the bus, but the bus stations along the way had restrooms available. There were two tour guides, a lady and a gentleman, and both were excellent. They spoke Spanish, English, and the local language. They were very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful throughout the tour. We visited four different places, and every stop was fantastic. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I highly recommend this tour 100%.
Response from the operator: Dear R5246YHhectorg, Thank you for your wonderful feedback and recommendation! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the comfortable journey, the beautiful destinations, and the excellent service from both of our guides. We’re especially happy to know that their knowledge, friendliness, and helpfulness made your experience even more enjoyable. We truly appreciate your kind words and hope to welcome you again on another memorable tour!

Nice excursion for full day
This excursion was very nice for a full day. Beautiful scenery, town at Grindewald. Exceptional lake with turquoise water in Interlaken. Because of the heatway and summer, we only saw 1 waterfalls of 70(s). Our tour guide was Gonzalo, 5 star for him and the company.
Response from the operator: Dear Chi P, Thank you for your wonderful feedback! We’re delighted to hear that you had a great time exploring Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen, and Interlaken. We’re especially happy to know that Gonzalo made your experience memorable. We truly appreciate your kind words and 5-star rating! We hope to welcome you again on another exciting journey.

The tour company isn’t good
The worst part of the trip was seeing a cockroach in the bus. The guide lady totally ignored me asking to check the situation, so we had to deal with it ourselves. Overall the bus is old and has no toilet inside (this part we were aware of reading the previous comments here), no usb or any other phone charging options. Water at an extra charge. Bot taking into consideration this unpleasant experience, the trip destination itself is breathtaking, so highly recommended but with any other tour company.

Nice day in the alps
Nice day out in the Alps. Be aware it is a long day with lots of driving. There is little time in Lauterbrunnen and Interlaken as most of the day is spent at Grindelwald because of the activities available. Lots to see but the distances are not small. Having said that, it was an enjoyable tour.
Response from the operator: Dear Maria T, Thank you for your feedback! We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed your day exploring the Swiss Alps and had an overall enjoyable experience. We also appreciate you sharing your observations about the itinerary and travel time. Your comments are valuable and will be shared with our operations team as we continuously work to enhance the experience for our guests. We hope to welcome you on another adventure in the future!

Beautiful day!
Guides were great! Views were fantastic. My only complaint was not enough time in the cities we visited, but that’s to be expected when you’re cramming so much into one day.
Response from the operator: Dear aschneid123, Thank you for your kind feedback! We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the breathtaking views and that our guides helped make your day memorable. We also appreciate your comments regarding the time spent in each destination. As this is a day trip covering multiple beautiful locations, the itinerary is carefully designed to provide a glimpse of each while ensuring a comfortable schedule. We truly value your feedback and hope to welcome you again for a longer visit in the future!

Why this scores 68
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Zurich: Guided Daytrip to Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen & Interlaken: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Zurich.
How much does Zurich: Guided Daytrip to Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen & Interlaken cost?
+
Prices start at $73 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Zurich usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Zurich: Guided Daytrip to Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen & Interlaken take?
+
Plan for about 12 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Zurich is not rushed.
Is Zurich: Guided Daytrip to Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen & Interlaken worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 39 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Zurich, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Zurich: Guided Daytrip to Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen & Interlaken?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Zurich: Guided Daytrip to Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen & Interlaken suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 12-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Zurich: Guided Daytrip to Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen & Interlaken?
+
Around 14 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Zurich can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Zurich and add a light layer if any part of the 12-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Zurich: Guided Daytrip to Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen & Interlaken start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Zurich within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Zurich?
+
On Outty we rank every Zurich experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Zurich Food Tour with 10 Local Delicacies, Cheeses & Chocolates, Private, excellent guided tour of Zurich (from CHF 21/pers.), Zürich Historic District Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Zurich?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Zurich?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
