Great guide and great food turned around travel stress
Great food tour! Stops were GREAT. Our guide was super friendly and shared interesting info. We had a flight delay that caused us to miss the first couple of stops, but the company was responsive and told us where to meet up our group. We finished the last few stops with them and had a great experience! It turned our stressful travel day around!

Food and History meet
You could feel the energy of the guide talking about Zurich and the food; One of our friends saw the old part of the town which she never saw before. The food was well selected giving a cross section of Swiss food. The food food was well prepared overall and the history just added to experience.

Zurich Food Tour
Jolik was a fantastic guide and made the Zurich food tour a truly enjoyable experience. She introduced us to a delicious variety of local delicacies, wine, chocolates, a lunch with cheese fondue, while seamlessly weaving in fascinating stories about Zurich’s history and culture. Thanks for her warmth and enthusiasm — it made discovering Zurich through its flavours and its stories truly wonderful

Depends on your guide
The tour was very organized with a wide variety of Swiss traditional foods. The food was delicious and each venue was ready for us when we arrived. You will not need a full size dinner after the tour! Our guide was a little disappointing as she was from another country and did not seem to be fond of Zurich. Too much time was spent telling us how she moved to this expensive place (Zurich) and had to work two jobs. Her personal saga distracted from the tour. I wanted to feel good about this long awaited vacation. Her sentiments about Zurich made me question why I was supporting the city as a tourist.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your perspective with us. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the variety of Swiss specialties along the way. We also appreciate your insights about the guiding experience and how it affected your overall impression of Zurich. Our guides each bring their own personality to the tour, but we want that personality to complement the experience and help guests connect with the city, its food, and its culture. We’ll certainly keep your feedback in mind as we continue to refine the experience, and we’d be happy to welcome you back to Zurich for another food tour in the future!

Zurich Food Tour with 10 Local Delicacies, Cheeses & Chocolates: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Zurich.
How much does Zurich Food Tour with 10 Local Delicacies, Cheeses & Chocolates cost?
+
Prices start at $140 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Zurich usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Zurich Food Tour with 10 Local Delicacies, Cheeses & Chocolates take?
+
Plan for about 3.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Zurich is not rushed.
Is Zurich Food Tour with 10 Local Delicacies, Cheeses & Chocolates worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 96 out of 100, which we label "Peak Performance". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 532 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in Zurich, and how flexible the cancellation terms are. Scoring 90 or above puts it in the Outty 90+ Club, the top tier of everything we rank.
Can I cancel or reschedule Zurich Food Tour with 10 Local Delicacies, Cheeses & Chocolates?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Zurich Food Tour with 10 Local Delicacies, Cheeses & Chocolates suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Zurich Food Tour with 10 Local Delicacies, Cheeses & Chocolates?
+
Around 186 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Zurich can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Zurich and add a light layer if any part of the 3.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Zurich Food Tour with 10 Local Delicacies, Cheeses & Chocolates start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Zurich within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Zurich?
+
On Outty we rank every Zurich experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private, excellent guided tour of Zurich (from CHF 21/pers.), Zürich Historic District Tour, Jungfraujoch: Top of Europe Day Trip from Zurich. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Zurich?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Zurich?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
