Amazing walking tour of old Zürich
Hans was so personable and shared his wealth of knowledge about Zürich and Switzerland’s history. He was very considerate about my husband’s disability during the tour. He surprised us by taking some photos and sending them to us.

Highlight of our time in Zürich!
Highly recommend this private tour! Our guide Jürg was fantastic—knowledgeable, funny, and super attentive (even making sure we stayed in the shade while we learned about the city). Communication was easy and accommodating from start to finish. A highlight of our trip to Zürich!

Hans was the perfect guide for us!
Hans was the perfect guide for us on Monday afternoon!! He was professional, friendly, knowledgable, kind and very flexible (my wife was feeling the effects of a long, delayed flight that morning combined with continued recovery from radiation treatments 4 months ago). In addition to adjusting the tour to better meet our needs, he even took us to our specific train at the end (and carried her suitcase down a flight of train station stairs)! You have hired a great guide and a very good person! He represents you well! Thanks again Hans!,

Wonderful city tour!
We went to Zurich for a bike trip to Switzerland and decided to do a city walking tour before we caught our train the following day. We met our guide, Hans, at the train station to begin the tour group. We ended up being the only ones and so we had a wonderful and intimate 1.5 hr tour of Zurich, learning about the history and fun stories of Zurich. We even had access to parts of the city that are not open to the public. Highly recommend this city walking tour, especially with Hans! He made it fun and interesting!

Authentic Zurich walking tour
We toured Zurich with lifelong resident Martin, and his enthusiasm and knowledge of this city were impressive. He shared the religious, political & cultural background of Zurich through the centuries, and we really felt like we were getting an authentic experience. Thank you Martin!

Private, excellent guided tour of Zurich (from CHF 21/pers.): questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Zurich.
How much does Private, excellent guided tour of Zurich (from CHF 21/pers.) cost?
+
Prices start at $21 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Zurich usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private, excellent guided tour of Zurich (from CHF 21/pers.) take?
+
Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Zurich is not rushed.
Is Private, excellent guided tour of Zurich (from CHF 21/pers.) worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 94 out of 100, which we label "90+ Club". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 296 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in Zurich, and how flexible the cancellation terms are. Scoring 90 or above puts it in the Outty 90+ Club, the top tier of everything we rank.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private, excellent guided tour of Zurich (from CHF 21/pers.)?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private, excellent guided tour of Zurich (from CHF 21/pers.) suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private, excellent guided tour of Zurich (from CHF 21/pers.)?
+
Around 104 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Zurich can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Zurich and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private, excellent guided tour of Zurich (from CHF 21/pers.) start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Zurich within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Zurich?
+
On Outty we rank every Zurich experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Zurich Food Tour with 10 Local Delicacies, Cheeses & Chocolates, Zürich Historic District Tour, Jungfraujoch: Top of Europe Day Trip from Zurich. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Zurich?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Zurich?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
