Excellent tour showing...
Excellent tour showing various areas of Zurich. Giada, our guide, was awesome. I recommend taking the city tour, which was part bus and part walking through old town, to get a feel for the city.

Not sure I would book this.
Our guide Bernadette was excellent, and knowledgeable, but we were the only 2 not doing the tour that included the lake cruise and chocolate tasting. They were not going to take us back to the starting point by bus, and suggested we take transit to return. We convinced the guide that we had paid for RT transportation, so the bus came back for us, but arrived 15 minutes after were had cut short the walking tour to meet the bus at the agreed on time and place.
Response from the operator: Dear Mary, Thank you very much for choosing one of our city tours and for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are very sorry to read about the misunderstanding regarding the return transportation. As you rightly mentioned, the return to the original meeting point is indeed included in the tour. We are glad that, despite the confusion, this was ultimately clarified and that you were able to take the bus back as planned. At the same time, we are pleased to hear that you found your guide, Bernadette, to be excellent and knowledgeable. We are happy her guiding met your expectations and helped enrich your experience. Despite the challenge, we hope you enjoyed the tour and hope to have the opportunity of welcoming you on another excursion in the future. Best regards, Clara from Best of Switzerland Tours

Pretty much a bus ride
Basically a short bus ride around the city. It was worthwhile seeing some of the neighborhoods outside the main tourist area and hearing a bit of the history of Zürich
Response from the operator: Dear Bruce, Thank you for joining our Zurich & Surroundings City Tour and for taking the time to write this feedback. We are sorry to hear that the tour did not fully meet your expectations and that it felt more like a bus ride. As outlined in the tour description on Viator, the itinerary includes a guided bus tour through Zurich’s financial district, university area, and a photo stop at Harbour Enge for views of Lake Zurich. In addition, the tour features a walking part through the Old Town, a ferry ride across Lake Zurich, and an aerial cable car ride up to Felsenegg with a stay of around 45 minutes. We understand that expectations can vary, and we regret that the experience did not align with what you had hoped for. For guests looking for a more customized experience, we usually recommend one of our private tours, which can be tailored to individual interests. Nonetheless, we are pleased to hear that you enjoyed exploring Zurich's neighborhoods and appreciated the historical insights shared by our guide. We wish you a wonderful stay in Switzerland. I don't really recommend this unless you are looking into Insurance Companies.
I wished to have learned more proper information about this tour, but the tour guide spoke more about insurance companies than the history. My mom ended up staying in the bus to sleep instead of joining the walking part of the tour after this realization. I, on the other hand, decided to just take pics at this point. Anyway, I was tight on schedule which was why I booked this one...
Response from the operator: Dear Jasmine, Thank you very much for joining our Zurich and Surroundings City Tour and sharing your experience with us. We are truly sorry that focus of the tour content didn’t meet your expectations. Many guests choose our guided tours for the unique insights, cultural history, and personal anecdotes shared by our guides, offering more than just facts easily found online. The personal perspective of someone who lives in Switzerland is often a highlight for visitors from around the world. We regret that this aspect didn’t resonate with you and your mum. Please rest assured that we’ll share your feedback with your guide to ensure improvements in content relevance for future tours. We appreciate your input as it helps us maintain the high standards our guests expect. Should you have any additional comments, please feel free to reach out. We wish you a wonderful rest of your stay in Switzerland. Best regards, Magdalena from Best of Switzerland Tours

Zurich Highlights City Tour with Optional FIFA Museum Ticket: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Zurich.
How much does Zurich Highlights City Tour with Optional FIFA Museum Ticket cost?
+
Prices start at $43 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Zurich usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Zurich Highlights City Tour with Optional FIFA Museum Ticket take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Zurich is not rushed.
Is Zurich Highlights City Tour with Optional FIFA Museum Ticket worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 53 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.5/5 across 103 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Zurich, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Zurich Highlights City Tour with Optional FIFA Museum Ticket?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Zurich Highlights City Tour with Optional FIFA Museum Ticket suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Zurich Highlights City Tour with Optional FIFA Museum Ticket?
+
Around 36 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Zurich can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Zurich and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Zurich Highlights City Tour with Optional FIFA Museum Ticket start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Zurich within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Zurich?
+
On Outty we rank every Zurich experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Zurich Food Tour with 10 Local Delicacies, Cheeses & Chocolates, Private, excellent guided tour of Zurich (from CHF 21/pers.), Zürich Historic District Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Zurich?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Zurich?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
