Half dome summit with friends
Incredible staff and organization. Went out for a in n out trip to summit Half Dome with some old friends. They were able to create an atmosphere that allowed our small group to soak in the wilderness. The small group size allowed for our guide to share details about the park and he was top notch! I would recommend to anyone looking for an adventure without the stress of logistical planning.
Response from the operator: Mr. Jansen- We thank you for taking the time to leave this kind review and sharing about how we were able to make your Half Dome wilderness experience an exceptional experience. -Scott

Great Private Day Hike with Dyson!
Our guide Dyson took our family on a 2 consecutive days for hikes throughout Yosemite. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He helped motivate the kids into doing the tough Mist Trail and Nevada Fall Loop which there likely wouldn't have done without him being our leader. The views were amazing! I would highly recomend their company and especially Dyson!
Response from the operator: Thanks for theis kind review about your Yosemite experience with Dyson. We are excited to hear the entire family enjoyed their time in the park. -Scott

Tremendous Experience - Five Stars
Highly Recommend. Tremendous experience. Cara was a wonderful guide. She shared her knowledge of the Park, the trails, fauna and flora. She contacted us the day before the hike to share information on the meeting place, what we should bring, set expectations and answered all our questions. We laughed, shared stories and had a throughly enjoyable day. She also gave us some suggestions on other hikes in the park we might enjoy. She was well prepared with some snacks, first aide kit and bathroom kit.

Absolutely breathtaking views
We started at Curry Village and it took us two hours to get to the top of Verbal Falls .The trail was a mixture of paved, unpaved and stone steps oftentimes steep, sometimes slippery from the mist of Verbal Falls.I strongly advise taking a rain jacket and trekking poles with you .The views looking up and looking down were absolutely fantastic. We spent an hour exploring the top of the falls.Beyond the top was really pretty .It took another two hours going down.It was not an easy hike .Take frequent stops to catch your breath and enjoy the scenery. The experience was just wonderful!

Hard but so worth it
This is a hard trail but doable.. you do get wet but it felt great with the heat. Many people had ponchos but for the short amount of time your wet we chose not to pack them. There are bathrooms along the way which is really nice since there are so many people around that there is no chance of scooting behind a bush. And we saw a bear!!

Why this scores 67
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Yosemite Mist Trail and Nevada Fall Loop Private Day Hike: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Yosemite National Park.
How much does Yosemite Mist Trail and Nevada Fall Loop Private Day Hike cost?
+
Prices start at $360 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Yosemite National Park usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Yosemite Mist Trail and Nevada Fall Loop Private Day Hike take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Yosemite National Park is not rushed.
Is Yosemite Mist Trail and Nevada Fall Loop Private Day Hike worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 16 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Yosemite National Park, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Yosemite Mist Trail and Nevada Fall Loop Private Day Hike?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Yosemite Mist Trail and Nevada Fall Loop Private Day Hike suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Yosemite Mist Trail and Nevada Fall Loop Private Day Hike?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Yosemite National Park can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Yosemite National Park and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Yosemite Mist Trail and Nevada Fall Loop Private Day Hike start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Yosemite National Park within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Yosemite National Park?
+
Yosemite tours cover Valley loops to El Capitan and Half Dome viewpoints, Glacier Point sunsets, Mariposa Grove sequoias and waterfall hikes in spring melt. Day trips from San Francisco run long, so we weight transparency on drive time. On Outty we rank every Yosemite National Park experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Yosemite Highlights Small Group Tour, Yosemite Valley Private Hiking Tour, Yosemite Winter Highlights Small Group Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Yosemite National Park?
+
May to June for waterfalls, September to October for quiet trails. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Yosemite National Park?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
