10 thumbs up (2 from everyone who went and everyone who has heard about the trip)!
From the time we contacted Wasili Kenya Safaris, I was impressed with the professionalism and care the agency showed. I accidentally booked the wrong dates, and they kindly sorted it out and followed through with the trip. While on safari, I was further impressed—— when booking I had mentioned my teen-aged daughter wanted to see birds, so our guide Julius (who was already knowledgeable) brought his birding books. What a joy to watch them pour over pics&guides to find out what they had seen. He also utilized his extensive network with other guides to help us see the animals normally seen on a safari- including elephants, zebras, giraffes, rhinos, hippos, monkeys, and lions.- All the while keeping an eye on our safety. We liked Julius so much, we immediately booked another safari with him at the end of our trip.— Everything was arranged wonderfully; the facilities recommended were very nice with good food, and Julius was a pleasure to travel with. I have already offered his name and the Wasili Company to several people considering a Kenya trip. Thank you Julius for making this time so special!

Amazing experience.
We had the most amazing time with our guide Peter who went above and beyond for us. We definitely recommended getting up as early as possible for the morning game drive as that by far has the best experience for seeing the animals.

A great guide, a wonderful trip
Our guide Peter picked us up right on time. He was very knowledgeable when we got to the park, identified all the animals and helped us learn how to identify them ourselves. He found great spots for photos. The accommodation in the park at Serena was very nice with a good selection of food. We got to see all the animals you expect at Amboseli. We even got to see some lion cubs feeding at a fresh kill. Wasili was great to deal with in the planning. Highly recommend.

One of the best days of my life
I will never forget this weekend in my entire life. The drive passed super quick because we had many interesting discussions about Kenya, religion, National and international politics, health, animals and Netflix series. Julius is a funny, responsible guide who will certainly match all your expectations. You want to do budget (like me), he will certainly do best to get most out of it. We stayed in Serena (which was not really budget yeah BUT the best choice!!). It is within the National park so you have more time to do game driving in the evening and that tip from Julius was worth more than words could express. In the evening the sky cleared and we had a wonderful view on Kilimanjaro and even spotted a Lion that came out in the cooler evening sun. While most other tourists had to be outside of the park we saw all the bucket list animals - a lion, a hippo that grassed outside the water and super close to the road, and even a nocturnal African hare!! Then we had a beer (that we bought before to save some coins) in the garden and finished our discussions. The next morning the Kilimanjaro was as clear visible as possible (another pro of sleeping in the National park is the magical early morning view on Kilimanjaro!). We saw so many elephants and got the pictures that everyone wants: Mama and Baby elephant in front of the Kilimanjaro. The visit at a Maasai village was equally informative and fun. I learned how to dance, pray and make a fire. I also had an inspiring discussion about climate change and maternal health. So overall I had one of the best days of my life - Not least because of the insanely great guide, whose honest passion for animals is contagious and spreads pure joy and gratitude.

Splendid tour of Amboseli National Park
The organization from beginning to end by Wasili Kenya Safaris. Everything was on schedule giving our whole tour team great relaxation to enjoy the park with the wonder tour guide Zachary Kamau. I very highly recommend working with Wasili Kenya Safaris for all you tour needs.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to leave us such a beautiful review. While TripAdvisor website places stars next to our business.Kuria , you are our real star. Most people don't bother to leave reviews about positive experiences and this is what makes you the star. Its only when we receive such great positive feedback, then do we rest knowing our job was well done .Thank you for giving us this proverbial pat on the back, you just made our day! We will strive to deliver greater experiences consistently, please do come again with your friends, family and all loved ones for greater Safari experiences.

Two Nights (Mid-range) Amboseli National Park Safari: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nairobi.
How much does Two Nights (Mid-range) Amboseli National Park Safari cost?
+
Prices start at $500 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nairobi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Two Nights (Mid-range) Amboseli National Park Safari take?
+
Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nairobi is not rushed.
Is Two Nights (Mid-range) Amboseli National Park Safari worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Nairobi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Two Nights (Mid-range) Amboseli National Park Safari?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Two Nights (Mid-range) Amboseli National Park Safari suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 48-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Two Nights (Mid-range) Amboseli National Park Safari?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nairobi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nairobi and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Two Nights (Mid-range) Amboseli National Park Safari start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nairobi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Nairobi?
+
On Outty we rank every Nairobi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 2 Days Amboseli Safari using a 4x4 Landcruiser jeep(with options), Wild 5-Day Safari: Magical Mara, Nakuru Wonders & Hell's Gate, 3 days group joining safari to Maasai Mara with a Land Cruiser Jeep. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Nairobi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Nairobi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
