Impeccable Safari Tour with Mike
We booked a 10-day Kenya and Tanzania Safari Tour with Flexivel Kenya Safaris based on their excellent ratings on TripAdvisor. The tour covers Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Amboseli National Parks. Our tour started well with a polite and friendly tour guide, Mike, who received us at Nairobi airport. Mike was very courteous, attentive and a careful driver who ensured we had safe journeys despite the bumpy roads in the national parks. Mike had good initiative in offering us additional activities such as the boat ride at Lake Naivasha, where we got to see various animals and birds, such as hippos and a variety of birds including pelicans. Other additional activities like the hot air balloon ride during sunrise and the cultural experience at a Masai Village brought our tour to new heights. During the game drives, we managed to see the Big Five, the Great Migration, and many other animals like cheetahs, hyenas, warthogs, vultures, flamingos and more. We have learned so much from Mike’s enthusiasm and passion for wildlife, which made the game drives even more interesting and educational. It was a hassle-free tour, thanks to Mike’s dedication to ensuring everything was arranged seamlessly, including the packed breakfast or lunch, as well as the border transfer. All we needed to do was enjoy ourselves and have fun during the safari tour. Despite minor shortcomings and mishandling on the last day of our tour in Tanzania, Jonathan was quick to step in, sending Rachel and George to close the gap so that the tour ended on a wonderful note. Thank you, Jonathan and his team, particularly our tour guide Mike, who are so committed to providing us with a memorable safari experience of a lifetime. If anyone were ever to ask me to recommend a company for a safari tour in Kenya and Tanzania, without hesitation, Flexivel Kenya Safaris would be the choice!

Maasai Mara with Mike
The overall journey to Kenya and Tanzania was memorable and good and we saw most of what we needed to see, perhaps even more. This review with the perfect 5-star rating is specifically for the Maasai Mara experience with Mike in Kenya. Diligent, hardworking and with sufficient concerns for the welfare and comfort of tourists, Mike has brought the entire Maasai Mara experience to an elevated level whereby the safari experience went above and beyond the sightings of wild animals at the savanna. Overall, it was an exhilarating and an unforgettable experience. The Serengeti is a more rugged terrain and this also came across with our travel guide in Tanzania who was aloof and unfriendly whereby the overall experience could have been more pleasurable had he been a more people-oriented travel guide. Will not elaborate this further, suffice to say that it has been addressed with Flexivel directly for the benefits of future travellers.

Amazing 12-Day Safari with George & Vincent
I googled safari companies for Kenya and Tanzania and this one kept coming up. Read a bunch of the reviews and figured I’d give them a try. Best decision I made for the trip. We did 12 days between Kenya and Tanzania. They were really flexible with the plans, which made a big difference. Nothing felt rushed or forced. George and Vincent were our guides and they were brilliant. Properly knew their stuff, patient with all our questions, and just good company the whole time. Made the whole experience way better. No regrets at all. Would recommend them without thinking twice.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this wonderful review and for trusting us with such a big adventure! 😊 Twelve days exploring Kenya and Tanzania is quite a journey, so we’re really happy to hear that everything came together smoothly and that you appreciated the flexibility along the way. Safari plans sometimes need to adapt to wildlife movements, road conditions and how guests are feeling, so we always try to keep things organised without making the experience feel rigid. A huge thank you for your words about George and Vincent. Knowledge is important on safari, but patience, good company and genuinely enjoying the journey together can make an even bigger difference. We’ll make sure they both see your comments. And knowing that you found us through Google, read the reviews, took a chance on us and came home saying it was the best decision you made for the trip really means a lot to our entire team. Thank you for choosing and recommending Flexivel Kenya Safaris. It was a pleasure having you with us! Asante sana from George, Vincent and the whole Flexivel Kenya Safaris team!

Why this scores 87
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Ultimate 12 Days Private Safari Tour in Kenya and Tanzania: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nairobi.
How much does Ultimate 12 Days Private Safari Tour in Kenya and Tanzania cost?
+
Prices start at $2300 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nairobi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Ultimate 12 Days Private Safari Tour in Kenya and Tanzania take?
+
Plan for about 288 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nairobi is not rushed.
Is Ultimate 12 Days Private Safari Tour in Kenya and Tanzania worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 87 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 74 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Nairobi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Ultimate 12 Days Private Safari Tour in Kenya and Tanzania?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Ultimate 12 Days Private Safari Tour in Kenya and Tanzania suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 288-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Ultimate 12 Days Private Safari Tour in Kenya and Tanzania?
+
Around 26 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nairobi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nairobi and add a light layer if any part of the 288-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Ultimate 12 Days Private Safari Tour in Kenya and Tanzania start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nairobi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Nairobi?
+
On Outty we rank every Nairobi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 2 Days Amboseli Safari using a 4x4 Landcruiser jeep(with options), Wild 5-Day Safari: Magical Mara, Nakuru Wonders & Hell's Gate, 3 days group joining safari to Maasai Mara with a Land Cruiser Jeep. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Nairobi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Nairobi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
