Once in a Lifetime Vacation
From the moment we landed until we returned home they went above and beyond to make this vacation so special. Manase was the MOST incredible, attentive guide. His years of experience truly made our vacation! He spotted animals that other guides drove past. His attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond were truly appreciated! I HIGHLY recommend this company!! A trip of a Lifetme!
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing this! Manase is grateful for your kind words, and we’re happy to have made this trip so memorable for you. The Best tour guides and transportation!
I have to yell at the top of my lungs to express how much I enjoyed and appreciated this company. We did multiple tours on our visit to Tanzania and all were provided by Melanated Safaris. In addition to our tours, they located and secured an amazing resort, on the Safari, and it heightened the experience. Their services exceeded any expectations of a tour guide. From the initial pickup, until we parted ways, they were providing us with exceptional service. They were always on time, friendly, funny, protective, informative, great communicators, adaptive and very accommodating. We had such a great and memorable experience on the Safari/Serengeti. There is no way around using a guided tour for the Serengeti, and I 1000% recommend Melanated Safaris LTD!
Response from the operator: Thank you for trusting Melanated Safaris during your time in Tanzania. We’re so glad our team could make your safari memorable from start to finish, and we truly appreciate your kind words and recommendation. We can’t wait to welcome you back one day! You're now family to us!

Adventure galore, hike, golf, safari, explore.
This was a dream adventure. Starting with hiking on Kilimanjaro, then golfing at Kilimanjaro country club, then Safari & balloon ride over the Great migration in the Serengeti, capped off with a few days exploring the beautiful island of Zanzibar. Melanated Safari group went all out from red table cloth lunch’s on Mt. Kilimanjaro to 5 star accommodations in Arusha, 5 star glamping accommodations on the Serengeti to a 5+ star accommodations on Zanzibar. They handled everything I could have imagined and so much more. This was a trip of a lifetime and I can’t thank the Melanated group for such an amazing trip.Adventure

Arusha and Zanzibar
Melanated Safari guided my family and I on our trip in Arusha all the way to Zanzibar. Juma, our tour guide, was awaiting our arrival at the airport and took us to our hotel. We did a few tours and a one day hike in Kilimanjaro. I requested a more local experience and they made sure to cultivate it. When we arrived to Zanzibar our tour guide awaited us there. They took us to our hotel. The next day we did a spice tour a d a Stone Town history tour. Overall, this company was reliable and flexible with our plans.
Response from the operator: Kerrie, thank you so much for sharing this. We’re glad your family had a wonderful experience from Arusha to Zanzibar, and I’ll be sure to let Juma know how much you appreciated him. Reliability and flexibility are things we take pride in, so it means a lot to hear that came through on your trip. We’re grateful you chose us and would love to welcome you back to Tanzania anytime.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
