Amazing trip with ArushaTrips
Amazing trip with ArushaTrips What an amazing trip through Tanzania this was! From start to finish, everything was incredibly well organized by ArushaTrips. The accommodations during the safari were top-notch. The beautiful tents at Tukaone Tented Camp and Tarangire Simba Lodge, in particular, were a wonderful experience. From these accommodations, you truly experience nature up close. During our eight-day safari, we saw an incredible number of animals. We were able to admire giraffes, elephants, lions, and cheetahs, among others. This was largely thanks to our guide/driver, Joseph. He had incredibly good eyesight and spotted animals that we hadn't noticed at all ourselves. Moreover, he was very friendly, helpful, and knew a lot about the animals and the surroundings. The people in Tanzania also made a great impression on us. They were friendly and hospitable, and we felt welcome everywhere. After eight intensive and impressive days of safari, we went to Zanzibar to unwind. To be honest, we really needed that. During a safari, you take in so many impressions and see so many special things that you really need some time afterwards to let it all sink in. On Zanzibar, we started with two nights in Stone Town. A beautiful, old, and lively city with much to see and do. We also did a Spice Tour here. Personally, I found that tour a bit less impressive than the safari, but it was certainly fun to learn a little more about the spices and the local culture. After that, we went to Jambiani for five days, to the Fun Beach Hotel. For us, this was truly the perfect ending to the holiday. We had asked for a small-scale hotel, and that is exactly what we got. We had our own cottage with a veranda, and from our accommodation, it was about a ten-meter walk to the pool across beautiful, snow-white sand. Upon returning, there was even water ready to rinse your feet so you wouldn't track sand inside. Wonderful! What we also really appreciated was the communication with ArushaTrips. If something didn't go quite right during the trip, it was resolved immediately by our guide/driver. And if we had any questions, we could contact ArushaTrips via WhatsApp. They always responded quickly and looked for a good solution. The trip was certainly not cheap, but we felt that the quality and organization were absolutely worth it. However, it is good to take the tipping customary in Tanzania into account beforehand. For a private trip, a guide/driver is often valued at approximately $20 to $40 per day per vehicle. Tipping is also customary for the staff at lodges and tent camps, such as cooks and housekeeping staff. We appreciated knowing this in advance so that we could take it into account during our trip. In short: for us, this was a fantastic holiday, and we look back on it with immense pleasure. The combination of a great safari, beautiful accommodations, friendly people, and a relaxed conclusion on Zanzibar made it complete for us. We would definitely recommend ArushaTrips to anyone looking for a beautiful and well-organized trip to Tanzania. 🇹🇿🦒🐘🦁🌴 Thank you ArushaTrips for this unforgettable experience!

Trip of a lifetime!
This truly was the trip of a LIFETIME! Myself and my partner were so impressed with everything. The booking process was super straight forward, we discussed what we were hoping for and were given different options with different price points which was nice to have the choice. In the end we went with what was recommended and it was honestly perfect. The contact and information given to us pre-trip was brilliant and we felt fully taken care of the entire time. As for the trip itself, it would be an understatement to say that our dreams came true. Our private guide, Johnathan, was incredible. He was very welcoming, friendly, extremely knowledgable and managed to find EVERYTHING! We did not expect to be able to see some of the wildlife that we did but somehow he managed to even find 4x Leopards, a Cheetah hunting and 3x Rhinos (Disclaimer: this is rare, even with a fantastic guide, but Johnathan was so proactive and eager for us to have the time of our lives) The accommodation suggested for us was brilliant, all the staff were lovely and we'd requested a hot air balloon ride which did not disappoint. Arusha trips clearly has amazing contacts and works with lodges, camps and other providers that are super professional, experienced and that deliver excellent services. Also, the destinations we travelled to (Tarangerie, Ngorongoro and the Serengeti) gave us a beautiful range of animals and landscapes to see. Honestly couldn't have been planned better. I will 100% be recommending Arusha Trips to anyone that is thinking about going on a Safari and I will most likely be booking again with them to climb Kilimanjaro sometime in the future.

Once in a lifetime
Early December decided to make this trip in combination with Zanzibar. Despite the short preparation period, everything taken care of to perfection by the travel company. On arrival, air tickets we had arranged ourselves, at Kilimanjaro airport our taxi driver arrived already. Cash withdrawal here, because during the safari there is no opportunity. After arriving at the lodge in Arusha we could soon get into our room. Food was inclusive and well cared for. Same menu for lunch as for dinner, but plenty of choice. Received a brief briefing from an employee of Arusha Trips the same afternoon and also met our guide, who accompanied us during the safari. The next morning we were picked up early by Meshak, the guide, to drive to Lake Manyara, a natural park known for its many elephants. Seen various animals. Late afternoon we were dropped off at our lodge in Karatu, a beautiful place with extensive garden with swimming pool and spacious houses. Again the food was inclusive. Wide choice and rich breakfast. The next morning we set off in time to drive to Ngorongoro. After the necessary paperwork, which the guide takes care of, drove into the area (is the size of France). After first the necessary kilometers through Maasai area, arrived in the Serengiti. Very nice that we had a Toyota Landcruiser with folding roof all to ourselves. This gives enough space to photograph and spot. In the car also a mobile phone with the channel of the rangers and other cars and a cooler and fresh water. Many herds with wildebeest, zebras, antelopes, giraffes, elephants, waterbuck, buffalo. Late afternoon we were dropped off at our lodge where we stayed 2 nights. Large tent with toilet and shower, very nice after a day of dust eating despite the cold water. Eating together in a large tent in buffet form. Everything very tasty. Every morning we get up in time to have breakfast, put together the lunchbox and then set off in time to spot animals again. The second lodge where we spent 2 nights was more in Maasai area and was also well cared for with good food and a big tent on stilts (as pleasant as hyenas passing by at night). The second day a 2 hour walk with a ranger, again spotted elephants and ended up among 9 giraffes. The last day we descended by car into the Ngorongoro crater, a nature reserve 20 kilometers across and home to rhinos and hippos. Eventually we saw the big 5. After saying goodbye to Meshak, we stayed for another night at the Outpost lodge in Arusha. The next morning we were picked up by taxi in time for a short ride to Arusha airport for our flight to Zanzibar. Everything neatly arranged and on time, we arrived at Zanzibar where the taxi was ready to take us to Jambiani in 1.5 hours. Upon arrival we were allowed to spend the first night in the honeymoon room, our cottage for the rest of the holiday was not yet available (we knew in advance). Lovely 6 days spent in this small resort on the beach. Finally, I want to thank everyone at Arusha Trips for the fantastic trip, and especially our guide Meshak.

Wonderful custom safari with Arusha Trips
Wonderful experience with Arusha Trips. Marjolein helped me put together a safari that would make sense for my wife and me. We decided to stay 5 nights at Manyara's Secrets Lodge (highly recommended) rather than moving from lodge to lodge. It worked great for us. Marjolein was also very helpful when one of our flights was cancelled at the last minute and we had to rearrange our travel out of Tanzania. She organized our transfer to Nairobi at the last minute. We had three great game drives with our guide. Having our own driver/guide was perfect. We left the lodge when we wanted and we told him at what time we wanted to be back. We also got support from Terry, who is the office manager for Arusha Trips in Arusha. Terry and I texted back and forth a number of times and he answered all of my questions promptly.

Had a fantastic time in Tanzania
We are now almost a month back from our fantastic trip through Tanzania with Arusha Trips. From the first contact, Arusha Trips felt like a very pleasant organization. They really listen to your wishes, carefully coordinate the trip together and are always easily accessible. Questions were answered quickly and clearly, which gave a lot of confidence. We chose an 8-day trip, including 5 days safari. What an experience! We got to admire the full Big Five, and thanks to Dismass we were in the best places time and time again. His knowledge, explanation and enthusiasm made every day special. Dismass brought not only the facts, but also a lot of positive energy, cosiness and the real “pole pole” feeling. He made sure that the safari was not only impressive, but also personal and relaxed. For an unforgettable safari experience, we absolutely recommend Arusha Trips. And if you have the chance: be sure to ask for Dismass – he will complete the journey!
