Worst cultural show ever
Unfortunately, this experience did not meet my expectations. The food was not good, the crowd and overall atmosphere were disappointing, and I did not enjoy the show. The camel ride was also not enjoyable and felt underwhelming. Overall, I was disappointed with the experience and would not recommend it.

Tks to real desert men travel
Participating in the desert camel sunset and overnighg tour was an absolutely amazing experience. Thanks to the thoughtful arrangements by Sawai dan Boss, we were able to enjoy the desert journey with complete ease and peace of mind. Every aspect of the camp was carefully planned—from the driver and camels to the meals, accommodation, campfire, local performances, stargazing party, and even the night safari. Everything was fantastic. We had so much fun and felt very well taken care of it truly felt like our second home.

Good experience, poor communication.
5* for the camel ride 5* for the music & dance 5* for the food 5* for the drivers & camp staff. 1* for no communication pre tour 1* for not picking us up from hotel 1* for blaming us for not communicating & giving the wrong phone number! (Phone no. Is set in viator) Tour organisers have become complacent, look elsewhere.

An unforgettable desert experience with Real Desert Man Safari 🌅🐫
Joining the Half-Day Desert Safari with Real Desert Man Safari was one of the highlights of my trip to Jaisalmer. The whole tour was well-organized, comfortable, and perfectly timed to capture the true spirit of the Thar Desert. The trip started with a hotel pickup and our first stop at Kuldhara Abandoned Village. There was no guided explanation, but the place itself felt mysterious and atmospheric — especially since we happened to see a film crew shooting a movie there! It added a surreal touch to the silent ruins. Next, we drove to a beautiful oasis in the middle of the desert. The contrast between the golden dunes and the greenery around the water was stunning. After a short break at the camp, we began the most memorable part — the camel ride. The local camel handler was amazing — friendly, patient, and very talented with the camera! He helped take incredible photos of us riding into the desert as the sun slowly set over the dunes. The view was breathtaking, with the entire sky glowing in shades of gold and red. After returning to the camp, we enjoyed a delicious vegetarian dinner along with traditional Rajasthani music and dance. The performers were full of energy, and the atmosphere was lively and festive. The tour includes hotel pickup and drop-off, camel ride, dinner, and the cultural show — all at a very reasonable price. Everything ran smoothly, and the staff were genuinely warm and hospitable. If you want to experience the magic of the Jaisalmer desert in a short time, Real Desert Man Safari is absolutely worth it! 🌟

Why this scores 76
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Sunset Cultural Desert Safari Tour Package: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Jaisalmer.
How much does Sunset Cultural Desert Safari Tour Package cost?
+
Prices start at $36 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Jaisalmer usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Sunset Cultural Desert Safari Tour Package take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Jaisalmer is not rushed.
Is Sunset Cultural Desert Safari Tour Package worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 45 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Jaisalmer, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Sunset Cultural Desert Safari Tour Package?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Sunset Cultural Desert Safari Tour Package suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Sunset Cultural Desert Safari Tour Package?
+
Around 16 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Jaisalmer can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Jaisalmer and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Sunset Cultural Desert Safari Tour Package start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Jaisalmer within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Jaisalmer?
+
On Outty we rank every Jaisalmer experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Overnight Camel Safari - Sleeping under the Stars, Adventure non touristic camel safari, Overnight Desert Safari Tour Package. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Jaisalmer?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Jaisalmer?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
