Fun chill snorkeling.

Very friendly family run experience. Local guide Louisa was knowledgeable and experienced. Provided good tips and took pics of the group which she shared immediately after the trip.

Response from the operator: Hi Noah, Thank you so much for your kind review! We’re really happy to hear you enjoyed the relaxed, family-run atmosphere and had a great snorkeling experience with us. Luisa will be delighted to know you appreciated her knowledge and local tips. We’re also glad you enjoyed the complimentary photos — it’s our way of letting guests stay present and simply enjoy the beauty of the Sea of Cortez. Thank you for joining us, and we hope to welcome you back for another adventure on the water! Warm regards, Roland & the Salty Cabo Team

Chileno Bay snorkeling

We had a 3 hour snorkeling excursion. We were greeted by Beth who introduced us to Luisa, our guide. We were a small group of 7 and had plenty of space on our boat. Chato was our Captain. We snorkeled in Chileno Bay, water and fish were great. We were offered complimentary drinks and snacks. Luisa was very knowledgeable about the area and the sea life. We really enjoyed our experience with her. When we returned my husband accidentally locked our car keys in our rental. Marianne and Beth were a great help. We don’t speak Spanish and could not find a valid phone # for the rental company. Working together they called, text, emailed to get us assistance. They followed up with the company numerous times to confirm they were coming. Beth stayed at the business with us for 2 hours until the rental company arrived. Her beautiful children were of great fun. I would highly recommend this company. They were so helpful and kind I wouldn’t hesitate referring anyone to this business.

Response from the operator: Hi Patti, Thank you so much for your wonderful and detailed review! We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed the snorkeling at Chileno Bay and that Luisa and Captain Chato helped make it such a memorable experience. Small groups, plenty of space on board, and sharing the beauty of the Sea of Cortez are exactly what we strive for. What really touches us is your kind mention of Beth and Marianne. We believe taking care of our guests doesn’t end when the boat returns to the marina, and we’re glad we could help during a stressful situation. Beth will be especially happy to hear that her children helped keep the wait a little more enjoyable! Thank you for your recommendation and for your trust. It was a pleasure having you with us, and we hope to welcome you back for another adventure the next time you’re in Los Cabos. Warm regards, Roland & the Salty Cabo Team

Amazing snorkel and whale watching tour

We took an uber, but there appeared to be parking at the initial meeting spot where we signed waivers and got ready to go. They shuttled us over to where the boat was. It was a smallish boat, perfect size in my opinion. There was a small group of us with the boat driver and tour guide who spoke perfect English. She was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We drove for 45 min, spotting whales along the way. The snorkeling spot was a bit wavy and I got a bit sea sick while in the water, but it was so worth it! The magnitude of fish and colors was unreal! Salty Cabo Excursions provided snorkel gear. On the way back they had drinks and snacks for us. We saw more whales on the way back. Overall loved the excursion and want to go back to take my kids!

Response from the operator: Hi Nataly, Thank you so much for your wonderful and detailed review! We’re thrilled to hear you enjoyed both the snorkeling and the unexpected whale sightings along the way — that combination always makes for a special day on the water. We’re glad you appreciated the small-group atmosphere, the comfortable boat size, and the guidance from our team. Even when conditions are a little wavy, the marine life and colors at the snorkeling sites can be absolutely incredible. It’s also great to hear you enjoyed the refreshments on the ride back after a fun day exploring the Sea of Cortez. Thank you again for joining us, and we would love to welcome you and your kids back for another adventure in the future! Warm regards, Roland & the Salty Cabo Team

Small-Group Snorkel Adventure in San Jose del Cabo: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Los Cabos.

How much does Small-Group Snorkel Adventure in San Jose del Cabo cost?

+

Prices start at $79 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Los Cabos usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Small-Group Snorkel Adventure in San Jose del Cabo take?

+

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Los Cabos is not rushed.

Is Small-Group Snorkel Adventure in San Jose del Cabo worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 79 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 65 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Los Cabos, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Small-Group Snorkel Adventure in San Jose del Cabo?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Small-Group Snorkel Adventure in San Jose del Cabo suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 7. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 3-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Small-Group Snorkel Adventure in San Jose del Cabo?

+

Around 23 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Los Cabos can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Los Cabos and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Small-Group Snorkel Adventure in San Jose del Cabo start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Los Cabos within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Los Cabos?

+

On Outty we rank every Los Cabos experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ziplining and UTV Desert Adventure from Los Cabos, Cabo 4x4 ATV Tour with Tequila Tasting and Mexican Buffet Lunch, Cabo Beach Camel Ride, Mexican Buffet and Tequila Tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Los Cabos?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Los Cabos?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
