    Amazing guide and kayak trip!

We did the Eco Tour of Mink estuary and it was amazing! Justin was an incredible guide and really taught us so much about the environment. He is very skilled at what he does and made our trip (we’re beginners) very easy and memorable! It was the best day of our trip to Door County.

Excellent Guide Makes For Excellent Adventure

I and a friend (60’s with intermediate kayaking experience) went on the kayak adventure leaving from Garret Bay. We had an excellent morning on the water with Justin. Justin was a knowledgeable guide and we learned a bit of history, geology, and more. He is also a super chill, friendly person. It was good to hear that Justin is a highly trained guide including in water rescue. His equipment is superior—actual single person sea kayaks; not sit-on-tops. The kayaks were stable and tracked beautifully. We were fortunate in that Mother Nature gave us perfect weather conditions. It was a great experience. We highly recommend Justin.

    Exactly what we wanted

Beautiful day for kayaking! Justin was knowledgeable and a good instructor for us. We went further into Green Bay than we ever had been. He had the right amount of conversation and time for us to just enjoy the quiet of the water. Would book again.

    Great morning of kayaking

Justin was fantastic, knowledgeable and just a good dude! I would highly recommend taking a kayak tour. We had the perfect morning and Justin was great explains the history and geology of Door County and Ellison Bay. The kayaks were actual sea kayaks and handled well. I plan on booking with him again.

How much does Sea Kayaking in Door County, Wisconsin cost?

    +

How long does Sea Kayaking in Door County, Wisconsin take?

Is Sea Kayaking in Door County, Wisconsin worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 75 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 35 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Green Bay & Door County, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Sea Kayaking in Door County, Wisconsin?

Is Sea Kayaking in Door County, Wisconsin suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Sea Kayaking in Door County, Wisconsin?

    +

Around 12 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Green Bay & Door County can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Green Bay & Door County and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Sea Kayaking in Door County, Wisconsin start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Green Bay & Door County within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Green Bay & Door County?

    +

Green Bay and Door County pair Lambeau Field stadium tours with peninsula lighthouse drives, boat cruises, kayak paddles to the sea caves and orchard and winery stops. On Outty we rank every Green Bay & Door County experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cave Point Kayak Tour, Door County Day Trips: Sightseeing Top to Bottom, Hearthstone Historic House Museum Admission Ticket. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Green Bay & Door County?

    +

June to October, with fall colour peaking mid-October. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Green Bay & Door County?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
