Fantastic to do with older kids!

This tour was fantastic! Brian, our tour guide, was excellent at showing us some cool things at Peninsula State Park and also teaching our kids how to be safe and confident on a Segway. Our 11 year old was a little nervous, and he was patient and wonderful with her, always making sure he could grab her Segway when we were going up and down a steeper hill. It was so much fun and it's definitely something we will do again on a future trip!

Response from the operator: Thank you for the fantastic review! I'm so glad your family had such a great experience in Peninsula State Park. Brian has a real gift for helping younger riders build confidence while making sure everyone feels safe and included. It's great to hear your 11-year-old went from being nervous to enjoying the adventure—that's one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. Thank you for choosing to glide with us. We look forward to welcoming your family back on your next trip to Door County!

    Grandma's gone wild! Just kidding!

Nick was a terrific guide! Very kind and patient! Made sure we were steady before he took us out. Very knowledgeable with local facts.

Response from the operator: Dayna, thank you for the wonderful review! It was a pleasure spending the afternoon with you. Helping guests feel comfortable before we head out is one of my favorite parts of the experience, because once everyone is confident on the Segways, the fun really begins. I'm glad you enjoyed learning about Peninsula State Park along the way. It's such a beautiful place with so much history and scenery to explore. I hope we'll have the chance to glide together again on your next trip to Door County!

    Brian was a great teacher...

Brian was a great teacher and guide. The colors in late October were still beautiful in the park. It's a little chillier on a segway. So dress warm. Great time.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share this! Late October can be a beautiful time to glide through Peninsula State Park — glad you were able to catch some of the fall color. I’ll pass the kind words along to Brian. He does a great job making sure everyone feels comfortable before heading out. And yes — a little extra layer on a Segway definitely helps 😊 We appreciate you joining us and hope to see you again on a future visit.

It was a beautiful fall day. Brian our guide was phenomenal. He took time to answer questions and made sure we were safe

Excellent Segway Tour with Brian. It was a beautiful fall day in Door County, WI. The group was small so we had a personal touch. Brian shared some cool facts and gave us time to stop, take pictures and enjoy the adventure.

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing this — we really appreciate you taking the time to write it. Fall in Door County is hard to beat, and I’m glad you had such a beautiful day to glide through the park. Small groups do make a difference, and I’m glad it felt personal and relaxed. I’ll be sure to pass the kind words along to Brian — he does a great job balancing safety, local stories, and time to simply enjoy the scenery and take photos. Hope to see you back for another glide sometime.

Is Peninsula State Park Segway Tour – Scenic Door County Views worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 81 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 103 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Green Bay & Door County, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

    +

Around 36 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Green Bay & Door County can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Green Bay & Door County and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

    +

Green Bay and Door County pair Lambeau Field stadium tours with peninsula lighthouse drives, boat cruises, kayak paddles to the sea caves and orchard and winery stops. On Outty we rank every Green Bay & Door County experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cave Point Kayak Tour, Door County Day Trips: Sightseeing Top to Bottom, Hearthstone Historic House Museum Admission Ticket. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Green Bay & Door County?

    +

June to October, with fall colour peaking mid-October. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Green Bay & Door County?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
