About this experience
If you don't see a time frame that works for you please contact me to arrange that. This workshop is addressed to adults to learn and expend their knowledge of Polish history and culture. The course is also a perfect opportunity to gain more understanding of your Polish heritage or prepare you for a visit in Poland. I will take you on a tour what my country looks like today. Starting with a short language lesson, I will then cover Polish geography, climate and interesting facts. We will spend some time talking about Polish history, World War II, Solidarity movement and changes that took place in Poland in 1989 and helped the country transition to democracy. Moving on, we will learn about Polish wedding traditions, by watching a video of my brother’s wedding. There are 16 Holidays in Poland, and I will talk about one of the favorites, the All Saints Day. At the end, we will try the famous homemade pierogi and share the recipe how to make them.

Gocia was very welcoming, had prepared pierogis ahead so we visited, listened and ate. Information was interesting from all facets of Polish culture, early history to present day, language to traditions to her brother's wedding. She has hard copies and video to enhance her descriptions. Since we had traveled to Poland, we had lots to talk about. Gocia was a charming host. It was a wonderful evening!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your thoughtful review—it truly means a lot to me. I’m so glad you felt welcomed and enjoyed the pierogi and our time together. It was wonderful to share stories about Poland and I especially loved hearing about your own travels to my home land!

Polish Cultural Experience
We recently attended the Polish Cultural Experience, and it was a delightful and enriching evening that truly brought Poland to life for us, especially as we prepare for our trip this fall. Held in the charming home of our host, Gosha, a proud native “Polka,” the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Gosha’s passion for her homeland was evident from the moment we arrived, setting a friendly tone that made everyone feel welcome. The event was as described, emphasizing cultural immersion. One of the highlights of the evening was the engaging presentation Gosha prepared. Using a large screen in her living room, she provided an informative overview of Polish history, geography, and culture. We even learned a few Polish words, which added a fun, interactive element to the experience. Gosha’s storytelling kept us captivated, making the information feel personal and relatable. While there wasn’t a formal dining experience, we were treated to a generous tasting of homemade pierogi, which were absolutely delicious — a testament to Gosha’s culinary skills.

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Green Bay & Door County.
How much does Polish Cultural Workshop with Pierogi Dinner - Appleton, WI cost?

Prices start at $55 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Green Bay & Door County usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Polish Cultural Workshop with Pierogi Dinner - Appleton, WI take?

Is Polish Cultural Workshop with Pierogi Dinner - Appleton, WI worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 77 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 32 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Green Bay & Door County, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Polish Cultural Workshop with Pierogi Dinner - Appleton, WI?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Polish Cultural Workshop with Pierogi Dinner - Appleton, WI suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Polish Cultural Workshop with Pierogi Dinner - Appleton, WI?
+
Around 11 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Green Bay & Door County can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Green Bay & Door County and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Polish Cultural Workshop with Pierogi Dinner - Appleton, WI start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Green Bay & Door County within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Green Bay & Door County?
+
Green Bay and Door County pair Lambeau Field stadium tours with peninsula lighthouse drives, boat cruises, kayak paddles to the sea caves and orchard and winery stops. On Outty we rank every Green Bay & Door County experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cave Point Kayak Tour, Door County Day Trips: Sightseeing Top to Bottom, Hearthstone Historic House Museum Admission Ticket. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Green Bay & Door County?
+
June to October, with fall colour peaking mid-October. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Green Bay & Door County?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
