Fun fall afternoon on the water
The boat ride was very interesting. The double deck was great because you could sit on top but could also get away from the wind and chill (it's a lot cooler on the water so bring warmer clothes than you need on land). The docent was very interesting and provided some good information The waves were really choppy when we got to Washington Island so we didn't go through to the other side but they pivoted and took us closer to other areas and provided some fun information and views. It was also nice having a bar and snacks.

Great time
Our guide was very knowledgeable about the area and we learned a lot about Deaths Door. The crew was very friendly. Drinks were available for a small fee. We really enjoyed the experience.

Will take another cruise, but hope for better weather
Enjoyed the cruise, except the weather was only about 60 degrees and windy so the lake was a little choppy. Sat on top level, wanted to see better, just got a little cold, but when the boat turned around, it was much better, Staff was excellent. Connie was very friendly and informative, pointing things out and telling the history of the area. Tom was friendly too and came around talking to people.

Great way to see the lake:
This trip was for 8 senior ladies. I sat up top for a better view but the side covering around the boat top prevented viewing for me and others as we weren't that tall. Our guide/narrator was good except the speaker where we sat was not working so we could not hear half of his presentation due to malfunction of speaker and strong wind. The boat itself was nice and clean. It was a lovely sunny day and only needed a light jacket. I would have given it a 4.5 rating out of 5. Staff was great, fee was about right price. Good for all ages. Kids on boat were given a chance to 'drive' for a bit which I am sure they enjoyed. The boat was pretty well booked the day we went.
