Amazing service from Danny, the owner and operator

Danny is the owner and operator, and provided an amazing hiking experience. We hiked into the mountains where the water for entire of Cabo is, where we were able to jump off the rocks into the water. After learning a lot of history of the area, seeing different types of cacti and learning how to survive if lost, we then ended at a local rancheros house where the ranchero’s wife made fresh homemade tacos, salsas, and taught us how to make homemade corn tortillas. Amazing experience my husband and I often think about!

The best of Cabo on a cruise port day

We had a short 5-hour port day at Cabo San Lucas during our cruise, and Danny and Mike took our family of 6 to San Jose de Cabo to see the estuary, the town, and we also got to enjoy a lovely lunch at a locals' favourite restaurant. We learned a lot about Cabo life and can't wait to be back!

    Highly recommend!

We just returned from our tour with Danny. We had a wonderful evening with just the right mix of adventure and culture. First was snorkeling at a beautiful beach cove with clear water. Then we changed into dry clothes and drove to an estuary/bird sanctuary for a short hike. Finally we went to downtown San Jose and experienced an art market with time to eat/explore. The entire time Danny was accommodating and had everything planned, organized and well-executed. This was our first time in Los Cabos, and I'm so glad we did this! Thank you Danny!

Three very different experiences in one afternoon!

This was one of two trips we booked with Dharma Expeditions, and we are so glad we did! Danny, Nacho, and Mike are incredible hosts that provide a truly local experience in a fun, caring, and passionate way. This trip is such a find! We got to experience three completely different parts of Cabo! We started with a snorkel trip at a beautiful beach, got changed, and headed to a freshwater natural reserve/bird sanctuary and from there drove to San Jose to experience the local colorful artist market. On the way, we learned about the history of this land, its people, and its culture. Three completely different experiences in one incredible afternoon and evening - what else can you ask for. One of the guests on this tour had some physical challenges and the hosts took such good care of her and accommodated her in the kindest way. I fell in love with Danny, Mike, and Nacho and laughed so much I had a smile on my face for days after! Do yourself a favor and book this adventure!

The highlight of our week in Cabo.

This tour perfectly combined several activities we wanted to experience: snorkeling (my first time) in a beautiful cove, a guided walk through the estuary park and bird sanctuary, and a visit to the famous Thursday night Art Walk. Danny was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the Baja peninsula, and the unique ecosystem of the area. He set up a blanket and beach umbrella for my girlfriend and then taught me how to snorkel. He took us to a cool thatched- roof Mom and Pop taco restaurant with live music. He showed us around the main square and left us to shop and experience the Art Walk for as long as we wanted. It was the most amazing street festival I've ever seen! A vast array of fine artists, musicians, a drum line, food vendors, souvenir stands and even some costumed characters. Danny was extremely pleasant. We even got to meet his senorita on the ride back to our resort. I highly recommend this tour, or any tour with Dharma, which is his very own growing tour business.

San Jose Artwalk: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Los Cabos.

How much does San Jose Artwalk cost?

    +

Prices start at $90 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Los Cabos usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does San Jose Artwalk take?

    +

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Los Cabos is not rushed.

Is San Jose Artwalk worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 17 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Los Cabos, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule San Jose Artwalk?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is San Jose Artwalk suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book San Jose Artwalk?

    +

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Los Cabos can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Los Cabos and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does San Jose Artwalk start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Los Cabos within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Los Cabos?

    +

On Outty we rank every Los Cabos experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cabo 4x4 ATV Tour with Tequila Tasting and Mexican Buffet Lunch, Ziplining and UTV Desert Adventure from Los Cabos, Cabo Beach Camel Ride, Mexican Buffet and Tequila Tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Los Cabos?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Los Cabos?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
