    What you'll see and do

    1. Punta Tombo

It is located 180 kilometers to the south and you travel mostly asphalt and a small part of gravel road to get there. This is one of the largest and most accessible Magellanic penguin colonies on the continent. It is the place chosen each year to fulfill its cycle of reproduction and rearing of its chicks. Once we have paid the entrance fee to the reserve (not included) our 1st stop will be at the Interpretation Center that will introduce us and provide information regarding the habits and behavior of penguins and the entire ecosystem that surrounds the reserve. Then, we will travel by bus the short distance that separates the center of the path where the penguins are. This trail is 1,500 meters long and ends in the sea. We will walk accompanied by a guide and, depending on the time of year, we will be able to observe penguins in their natural habitat, swimming, digging their nests, fighting for their territory. or feeding and caring for their chicks.
