Beautiful hike
My wife and I had a wonderful hike with Dyson exploring both the Tuolumne area including a deserted silver mine and nearby lakes, then on to the giant Sequoias. Dyson was extremely knowledgable, flexible and good company and we would highly recommend him.
Response from the operator: Thanks for this kind review and for sharing your experience with Dyson. I know that Dyson was excited to change up the itinerary with you so you could see more, and that you did! Glad you enjoyed it, and thanks again for taking the time to leave the review. -Scott

Great outfitter, most memorable vacation I've ever had
It was a fantastic vacation, and they are a great outfitter. I was in great hands with our guide, Ella; I felt very safe and would not have had the same Yosemite experience without her. My favorite hike with Ella was to the Glen Aulin High Sierra Camp and White Cascade waterfall. The hikes were challenging on some days and light on other days, based on what we were looking for. She took us away from the crowds, and we experienced scenery and beauty that we would have only been able to see with her expertise. It was a vacation I will never forget and one that I am very grateful to have been able to experience. Scott was also very easy to work with when booking the trip. If you are going to Yosemite, don't skimp; this is the company to use to see the best of it. We stayed at the Rush Creek resort; Ella picked us up every morning and gave us options for the day. Lunches were included on the hike. I would use this company again. I couldn't be happier. Thank you again, Ella and Scott.
Response from the operator: Thanks for taking the time to leave this review about your Lodging/Hiking program. We are stoked to hear your time with Ella and in Yosemite was rewarding. -Scott

idyllic day off of Tioga Road
Since I was going solo, my guide and I were able to customize my day trip to meet my goals and limitations. Ciaran is a very sweet and knowledgeable guide. he did everything he could to make my trip absolutely perfect. We hiked to Lukens Lake, Around Tenaya Lake, and to Soda Springs.

Will & Net's excellent adventure
WOW~ Our tour of such an unexpectedly beautiful area was enriched by the daylong conversation and touring with Will. We saw varied areas including a lake, a stream, and a rock dome, some wildlife, and exceptional views (and he could name just about every peak within view).

Breathtaking Backpacking Trip with Outstanding Guides
Our guides -- Aida and Caber -- were amazing. They taught us so much about the history of Yosemite Valley, the people, the terrain, the plants, and the animals. They were fun and funny and kind and compassionate. The hiking was a challenge, but they taught us how to hike well and encouraged us along the way. We hiked on and off trail and saw beautiful scenery. I would highly recommend Lasting Adventures, and Aida and Caber are phenomenal.
Response from the operator: Thanks for taking the time to leave this great review and we agree that Aida and Caber are awesome. Hope to see you again soon. -Scott

Why this scores 65
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Tuolumne Meadows Hiking Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Yosemite National Park.
How much does Private Tuolumne Meadows Hiking Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $360 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Yosemite National Park usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Tuolumne Meadows Hiking Tour take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Yosemite National Park is not rushed.
Is Private Tuolumne Meadows Hiking Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Yosemite National Park, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Tuolumne Meadows Hiking Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Tuolumne Meadows Hiking Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Tuolumne Meadows Hiking Tour?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Yosemite National Park can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Yosemite National Park and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Tuolumne Meadows Hiking Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Yosemite National Park within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Yosemite National Park?
+
Yosemite tours cover Valley loops to El Capitan and Half Dome viewpoints, Glacier Point sunsets, Mariposa Grove sequoias and waterfall hikes in spring melt. Day trips from San Francisco run long, so we weight transparency on drive time. On Outty we rank every Yosemite National Park experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Yosemite Highlights Small Group Tour, Yosemite Valley Private Hiking Tour, Yosemite Winter Highlights Small Group Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Yosemite National Park?
+
May to June for waterfalls, September to October for quiet trails. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Yosemite National Park?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
