What you get
About this experience
You will be picked up from your hotel by your sommelier guide, at around 9:30 AM, to go to the Utiel-Requena wine region with a native red grape, the Bobal. We first go to the old town of Requena, where we will visit old wine caves. We do a first wine tasting here! From here we go to another winery near Requena for wine tasting, and then to another winery, near Utiel, where we can visit the vineyards, production areas, and barrel room. This winery is specialised in Bobal wines. We stay for a nice lunch at the same winery with the best wines of the winery; and with a view over the vineyards! After lunch we go back to Valencia (we should be back at around 4-4:30 pm). NB: this tour can also be done for 1 or 2 people, or more than 8 people, or with a wheelchair user - contact me directly! Up to 4 people: I use a small SUV MG ZS e-vehicle, comfortable for 4 normal-sized passengers. Let me know if you feel you need a larger vehicle (price will be different).

Requena
We will visit the old wine caves in the historic centre of Requena, one of the pretty towns in Valencia. The caves were dug out under the houses about 1000 years ago! They were used for storing whatever people produced, including a lot of wine. We will do a first wine tasting here.
60 minutes here
Requena
Our next stop is a small one-man winery in a hamlet near Requena, where you will taste the 5 different wines he makes. You can buy the very reasonably priced wines at the winery.
60 minutes here
Our last stop is a small family-run winery, where we go into the vineyards, the areas where the wine is produced, barrel room, and then do a wine tasting, while we have lunch at the same winery - with 3 starters, main course, dessert, and all the wines of the winery you like to try...

Fabulous private wine tour
Johan is incredibly knowledgeable about the entire wine making process and especially about local Valencia-area wines and wineries. Johan is very personable as well and took us - myself, my husband and my 90 year old mother with a walker - on a private tour with wine tasting and lunch. The tour was accessible for my mother with her walker and we all thoroughly enjoyed the day. We highly recommend this tour!
Response from the operator: thanks for this nice review, Emily! Very nice to have you all on my accessible wine tour; I hope to see you all soon again in Valencia! We also do accessible tours in the city, to the Albufera lake just south of Valencia, and organise accessible hotels, airport transfers, organise mobility equipment (including electric bed, shower chair, lift, etc.) and arrange special (nursing) care and support.

Private, premium: 3 wineries in Valencia region + winery lunch: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Valencia.
How much does Private, premium: 3 wineries in Valencia region + winery lunch cost?
+
Prices start at $234 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Valencia usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private, premium: 3 wineries in Valencia region + winery lunch take?
+

Is Private, premium: 3 wineries in Valencia region + winery lunch worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 1 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Valencia, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private, premium: 3 wineries in Valencia region + winery lunch?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private, premium: 3 wineries in Valencia region + winery lunch suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private, premium: 3 wineries in Valencia region + winery lunch?
+
Around 0 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Valencia can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Valencia and add a light layer if any part of the 7.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private, premium: 3 wineries in Valencia region + winery lunch start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Valencia within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Valencia?
+
On Outty we rank every Valencia experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Valencia Bike Tour from the City to the Beach, plus Bike Guy App!, Paella Cooking Class, Wine Tasting & Central Market in Valencia, Real Paella Cooking Class – Market Visit & Sangría Workshop. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Valencia?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Valencia?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
