Wonderful introduction to Valencia
This was a great little tour of the city. Our guide Maya was super sweet and I appreciated her flip book of pictures showing the cultural events in the city that were taking place at other times and of historical photos.

A number of organisations issues as well as time keeping
The meeting point is at the bike hire shop at Ruffasa, which is easy enough to find. They have a good range of bicycles in different sizes, including helmets, so there was plenty of choice to accommodate adults and children. Unfortunately, one of the bicycle seats was not working properly, which caused an initial delay. Although this tour is listed as a 5-star experience, our experience was considerably less impressive. The main issues were organisation, time management, communication and supervision of the group. The tour started around 15 minutes late, As a family with two young g kids went to get lunch for them , returned at 1530 and they sat ate their pizza till 1545 which is highly inconsiderate considering that it created a delay to the group departure then on setting off the chair of the father with the pizza then slipped down so we had to turn back to Get a new bicycle. The guide was pleasant, but communication was sometimes difficult due to his accent and instructions were not always clearly articulated in English initially but this for better thought the tour. There were children in the group, and unfortunately the pace and supervision were not really suited to them. At one point a child fell off their bike, and the guide needed to be more aware of what was happening behind him rather than cycling well ahead of the slower members of the family. Better oversight and more frequent regrouping would have made the tour safer and more enjoyable. The biggest problem was time management. The tour ended up taking more than three and a bit hours, roughly an hour longer than expected. As a result, we did not have enough time to properly explore the City of Arts and Sciences, which was one of the main highlights we were expecting from the tour. The information provided was adequate, but towards the end it felt increasingly rushed because of the delay. We also stopped at a children’s playground, which was a nice idea for families, but given that we were already running significantly behind schedule, this stop could have been shortened or omitted. The children themselves also seemed to become bored during parts of the tour, suggesting that it may not be particularly well suited to younger children. Overall, the tour covered the main sights and the guide was pleasant, and the bike hire shop itself was well equipped with bikes for all sizes and helmets. However, the late start, poor timekeeping, communication difficulties and insufficient attention to the slower members of the group significantly reduced the experience. It would be better suited to adults or confident cyclists than families with younger children.
