An unforgettable experience in Tanzania thanks to Oscar Safaris
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our trip to Tanzania has been, without a doubt, an experience that we will remember for the rest of our lives. Tanzania has surprised us, moved us, and left us with many precious memories, and in large part it has been thanks to the **Oscar Safaris** team. We want to especially thank **Prosper**, the logistics manager, for always being attentive to ensuring everything worked perfectly and for making it so that during the trip we could stop worrying about the organization and simply enjoy ourselves. We also want to mention in a very special way **Isabella**, our sales representative, who had infinite patience with us. We designed a completely personalized trip and kept making a thousand and one changes during the preparation, adapting it to our tastes and to what we wanted to experience in Tanzania. Isabella was always willing to listen to us, look for alternatives, and make our ideas a reality. Thank you so much for accompanying us throughout the entire process! And what can we say about Smagu, our Spanish-speaking guide. Friendly, charming, and always attentive to us. At all times he wanted us to be comfortable, to enjoy ourselves, and, above all, for us to take away an unforgettable memory of Tanzania. His warmth and the way he accompanied us made us feel very good throughout the trip. But we want to make a very, very special mention of Miralli (Mañana), our guide on the bicycle excursion through **Mto wa Mbu**. Miralli is exceptional, truly. The enthusiasm and pride he feels for his land and for sharing his culture is very evident. He explained countless details about their customs, their way of life, and their community, always with contagious energy and enthusiasm. Furthermore, he stayed with us for more than an hour beyond the time we had booked, simply because he wanted to show us more and share more things with us. Those kinds of gestures are what make the difference and make an excursion become an authentic and special experience. In short, we are very grateful to the entire Oscar Safaris team. We are taking away much more than photographs: we are taking away experiences, lessons, family moments, and, above all, the memory of wonderful people who made our trip even more special. Asante sana, Oscar Safaris, Prosper, Isabella, Smagu, and Miralli. See you soon, Tanzania! 🇹🇿❤️

Romance in the savanna.
It is a small company, but it operates very well. Both the guide and the driver treated us wonderfully; the schedules, hotels, and organization were always perfect.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE, UNFORGETTABLE MOMENTS
We spent a week exploring the Materuni waterfalls, the Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and Serengeti parks, and then visiting the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes. The whole experience was wonderful and deeply engaging. It wouldn’t have been as amazing without our guides, Elisha and Salehe. Their knowledge of the areas, their kindness, availability, and above all their passion for their work (and Elisha’s incredible eyesight!), along with the shared joy of observing the animals in all their beauty, truly made this safari unforgettable. Thank you so much, Elisha and Salehe! It’s been a month since we returned from this trip, and we still can’t stop talking about it. We’re also very grateful to the entire Oscar Safari team — to Shreddha for the itinerary and to Marcos for the continuous support during the safari. A special thanks as well to Agustine for his kindness. Highly recommended!

Great safari
We spent a wonderful week on safari with Oscar's company. For this unforgettable week, we would like to thank Moïse, our guide, and Abdullah, our driver, for their kindness and professionalism. Their extensive experience and remarkable knowledge of the complex workings of the savannah allowed us to make the most of every moment. Every aspect of the trip, from transportation and the guide's accompaniment to accommodation and food, was very well organized. We experienced no inconveniences or disappointments. We highly recommend it!

Very fun trip to an incredibly beautiful place!
My wife and I just finished our honeymoon doing a Safari with Oscar Africa Safaris and we were extremely satisfied with the whole experience. You should absolutely book with confidence! They were very easy to communicate with and accommodated all of our requests. One thing we learned is that having a good guide could easily make or break a trip like this. We highly recommend asking for Elijah! He was incredibly knowledgeable and experienced in all of the national parks we visited but his knowledge of the Serengeti was what impressed us most. He knew exactly where to look for all the animals that we wanted to see. The park roads are very rough and he is a skilled driver who can manage tricky situations well and has the knowledge to keep you safe. He takes very good care of his truck, which is very comfortable, clean, has good off-road tires and works reliably. We communicated with Elijah in Spanish for the whole trip and he speaks very well. He is a pleasant person to be around and to chat with. He also seems to understand English well. You will have an amazing and comfortable experience with Oscar Africa Safaris and Elijah! Book it!

Why this scores 74
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private 7 Days Classic Safari Tour in Tanzania: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Arusha.
How much does Private 7 Days Classic Safari Tour in Tanzania cost?
+
Prices start at $2720 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Arusha usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private 7 Days Classic Safari Tour in Tanzania take?
+
Plan for about 168 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Arusha is not rushed.
Is Private 7 Days Classic Safari Tour in Tanzania worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 40 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Arusha, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private 7 Days Classic Safari Tour in Tanzania?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private 7 Days Classic Safari Tour in Tanzania suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 168-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private 7 Days Classic Safari Tour in Tanzania?
+
Around 14 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Arusha can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Arusha and add a light layer if any part of the 168-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private 7 Days Classic Safari Tour in Tanzania start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Arusha within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Arusha?
+
On Outty we rank every Arusha experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Arusha Guided City Tour &Hotel Pickup (History, Culture &Market, Materuni Waterfalls, coffee tour & Kikuletwa Hot Springs, 5 Days Camping Tarangire, Serengeti & Ngorongoro crater & Visiting Maasai. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Arusha?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Arusha?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
