About this experience

We will drive from Arusha to Kilimanjaro National Park to begin your climb along the challenging and scenic Machame Route. The Machame route, also known as the Whisky Route is one of the most scenic and recommended routes on Kilimanjaro. This popular route with paths through magnificent forests to gain a ridge leading through the moorland zones to the Shira Plateau. It then traverses beneath the glaciated precipices of the Southern Ice fields to join the Barafu Route to the summit. Because it can be done over longer periods and the incline is more manageable it has a much higher success rate of summit.

One of the best experiences of my life

Me and my partner booked a bespoke 6 day Safari group trip with Inno Safaris and we had such an amazing time. Moses our guide was very knowledgeable, kind and genuine. You can tell he loved his job and had a lot of respect for nature. We also managed to see the big five (and much more!) which was a bonus. Our chef's Eric and Richard were excellent and made some delicious vegeterian food for us as requested. When we booked our Safari at the office Mike and John were very helpful and understood our needs and desires for the trip. In short I would highly recommend Inno Safari and if you get Moses as a guide you are very lucky and will have a great time!

Amazing Safari Experience!

Inno is a great choice for a Northern Tanzanian safari! I met Inno at his office in Arusha and he helped me develop a customized 5 day private safari through Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire National Park. Our guide, Ayubu, was highly knowledgeable about the wildlife and an impressive spotter. He customized our experience to our interests (photography and birdwatching). Importantly, he was very experienced in all of the routes and was very trustworthy for ensuring a safe trip. He demonstrated his knowledge/handiness by saving numerous other groups who got stuck in the Serengeti or who had various types of mechanical problems with their vehicles. We had amazing trip with incredible wildlife sightings. Highly recommend!
